i'm very sorry to say this frankly..i'm deeply worried abt some comments in this topic..

i dont want to pin point anyone..

pl clear understand that me also will accept that our performance was not good in first 2 tests & and also in 3rd test..

but persons had commented somethings which not related to this topic..

i want to tell onething.. even anybody mistake me i dont care.

SACHIN TENDULKAR has been playing cricket for last 21 years .
because of not playing in one single tour we should not scold him..
because of a single indian (SACHIN) we got very proud ..
most of records are created by him..
SACHIN is a sportperson and he was an indian.. we have to proud of his records..

hahha ur right dev but team was undercooked at the start of the tour and were caught "cold" by the "hot" English team...Blame it on the incompetent BCCI who shud have planned the itinerary in a better way

I now feel we may even lose the last match or may try to salvage some pride by drawing. winning seems out of question. Even ODI we have to try hard to win, and it depends on our batting, mainly Sehwag, Gambhit, Dhoni, Sachin and Raina and Zaheer if fit

India prepared for years for the W'cup...and won it....and then there was a sense of Nirvana...having attained the ultimate prize.
and hence the release of intensity in the Indias
this series wasn't as intensely important to India as it was to Eng.

Add to that loss of Zaheer, Gambhir, Sewag and Harbhajan.......in their seaming conditons.

If Eng were to come to India and play on square turners without Pitersen, Cook, Broad and Swann......and let us see how they will fare.

We would have liked to see more fight from our team.....but given the ciscumstances I would write this one as a one- off aberration...like thr series in NZ in 2002 on green minefield just before the W'Cup where we got absolutely walloped, against all expecttaions

More than bad scheduling I am seeing this as a "Nirvana" mental release phase of all the seniors who had been covoting eh W'Cup and got it.

Normal intensity will be restored by the time we go to Aus....and with all the criticism in the media BCCI will introduce atleast one more practise game...they have clout and pwoer.....somebody needs to putting pressure on them tell them what to do.

There are a couple of psotives...the way Praveen Kumar has stood up and fought and uselss Bhajji is gone.

in the India-emrging side currently playing in Aus... the 150kph Varun aaron, SS Tiwary, Rahane have given a good account of themselves.

We are not and will not be an undisputed #1 team....but in the new world order...we will remian amongst the top 3 teams in the world

Completely I agree with you... sometimes one can even see the lack of stamina in youngsters in ODI. I wonder whether they will be able to stand and bat for a whole single day in a Test match

I don't think there are too many batsmen who became international stars from the very first series...azhar, Ganguly, Dravid, Sehwag were some exceptions in recent times.

Amarnth, Vengsarkar, VVSL, Gambhir took quite a lot longer to get established.

we will not be able to replace all time greats averaging 55+......enjoy them for as long as they last..they are once in half a century type talent.

but we will have fairly competent batsmen averaging 40 to 45ish...in Pujara, Rahane, SS Tiwari, Raina, Yuvarj, Kohli......given that Sehwag and Gambhir will play 5 more years.

we won;t be the best batting side in the world or even the top team...but a fairly competitive side in the top 3 or 4
