my two cents:

Arudha Padas is Bhava Arudha: From Bhava count to the Bhava lord and then count equal signs afterwards
afterwards.

Graha Arudha is done this way: From Graha count to the strongest of its signs. and from there count equal signs.

AP is world's perception of reality. GA is native's perception of reality.

i think PVR ji has used the term "Arudha Pada of X Graha" instead of Graha Arudha in many places in his examples.

i tell u what .... when discussing this distinction ....NARSHIMA discussed the chart of sachin tendulkar and from it using graha arudha and bhava arudhas simultaneously , he showed how to judge his wife anjali profession .... simply amazing

but never mind ... i will not die with this knowledge in my heart , i will pass it on to some people whose ego is not bigger then their thirst for knowledge ... sadly , i cant find such people here on this forum ... i tried my best ....

Now lets see , how much the so called expert / senior astrologers , mangal dosh experts , their gurus , birth time rectification experts , past life regression experts , learned by heart evry shloka experts etc etc knows

Dinesh ji, with all due regards to you, Where do you fit in exactly in the above mentioned categories ? What are you ? A expert or a student ?. If you are a expert, be humble enough to share knowledge . If you are a student then dont pass sarcastic comments on the others. We are all here to learn the subject . No one can claim he / she is a expert on the subject . Even P.V.N.R. ji comes under flak sometimes . who am I or you ? You will not be a master on this subject even after a 100 years Neither you Nor me . So please stop this attitude and learn to be humble . My own guru says that he is still a student . Who are you ?

Let me tell you a example,

This is a man I know from child hood . He once told me " I might be the best in my field as far as I am concerned, But there is always somebody who is better than me . I am good only to the limit of the Knowledge and experience that I possess . There is a lot I dont know." This is from a man who is giving lectures in most of the leading medical collages in the world. If he can say this, who are we ?

Dr E.S. Neelakantan ( prolific writer on astrological subjects ) once was recounting a meeting with a surgeon . The surgeon asked Neelakantan "If i was to tell you that the success rate of my surgeries is 99 Pct what inference would you draw . Neelakantan said " I would say that you are the best and that you have a commendable success rate" The surgeon then said " you look at this from the view of this single patient whose life I spoiled due to my lack of knowledge or experience , and then decide my success rate . From the point of view of that patient I have failed in my Job and I am useless and I am a 100 Pct failure" .

No body can claim he is the best . No body can say that his predictions can be successful a 100 pct . No one can say that he is in the know of every thing just because he has a Great guru and has access to the best notes on astrology. We all learn till we die . My guru said, "after this entire life time and then another 10 lifetimes, If I spent all of it on learning astrology, I would have learnt just 2PCT of astrology. In this entire life time, I might examine 1,00,000 horoscopes max . There are 7.4 billion people on this earth. How much have I covered ?" .

i think your question was how does the native perceive his relationship with Mother and Father.

my guess is Graha Arudha of 4th/9th lord.
