Rahu is conjunct with Jupiter in the 12th house of Saggitarius...and magnifies the effect of a strong Jupiter.

Rahu will transit into his 1st house on the 7th June...the effect of whihc should be quite positive / favorable IMO.

it's not related to the subject...however let me try and answer here:


you should have come very close to buying the house more than once in the last 2 years, especially in the last 1 year.

your 4th lord in D-4 is Me afflicted by a strong Ketu.

Do Ketu jaap and Poojan and worship Lord Ganesha regularly.
Make a commitment to do a Ganpathy sthapan in your house and i hope your wish will be fullfilled soon.

Hi Shilpa,

18 years ago was 1993. Actually things were quite good-I started my faculty position in August 92 so was getting really well established professionally. I bought a house that spring, a very nice one. Work was extremely busy, I had several students, and I was writing a lot of grants so pretty much just working. Health was good-I dont remember any problems. Family was OK too. It was tough on my personal relationships as I had moved, but I made new friends.

Ugh! You may well ask!! The last 2 years have seen several reorganizations in my department-we are all tired out. Our VP resigned without warning in April after exactly 2 years, so we are in Interim VP mode. I lost 2 staff a few months ago, but have now filled both positions but have been doing both jobs as result..... I had part of my office stupidly reassigned to another group 2 years ago-after 2 years of nagging I have got them back but one resigned as a result of the stress. I am having more conflict than usual with 2 of my staff, despite doing my very best to keep their positions/work as stable as possible. There seem be lots of hurdles and obstacles, I have a new boss I have to get to know and the work is piling on-even during my so-called vacations. I am wondering when it will start to settle down! It is not just me-my staff is tired too.

Rahu is only slightly malefic for you and aspected by Jup in the Rasi chart.

it's ttransit over D30 Lagna in scorpio as well as over your 5th house in rasi will bring no catostrophes...but general problems and hurdles & delays relating to recognition/ awards/ promotions/ romantic interests areas.

As per this, Pisces will be a significant rashi. However, in D-1, i don't have any planets in Pisces, except sun or virgo having rashi aspects.

Assuming your BT is accurate:

--Trimamsa lagna is Pisces...whihc is the 11th house of your Rasi chart.

--so problem area for you may be income from profession...whihc means you are not making enough money, as you should or not finding the right employment.

--How was the time between April 2005 to Sep 2006 ?? also what MD-Ad were you running then and what are you running now.

--Saturn sitting in the 8th house of your Trimamsa shows your problems are because of Saturnian hard-work grind, delays, denials, constrains, restrains......perhaps for family reasons( constraining/ restricting cause) and affecting your employment/ earning prospects.

--Escape path......12th house of trimamsa has nodes sitting in it.....not good.....indicates little choices in escaping from the situation. Almost Karmik destiny imposed situations that are restraining you down.

Good Karma.....spirituality...is your only solace but expect no drastic changes to your situations in the short term.

I was running Merc- Sat at that time. While I was not working at that time, it was a time of stability & happiness. We moved to our current house. I kind of took voluntary retirement from 2000 to 2007. Towards the fag end of this time period, I went back to school - June 2006. You can say I joined work at Ketu MD starting time. But the whole time has been of such anxiety and disappointments.

--Trimamsa...Lagna Lord is sun placed in the 7th house....and per the given rules denotes the area of troubles in yuor life i.e marriage.
Which you confirmed is the case.

--You are also on the 1-7 axis of Rahu-Ketu and Rahu was transitting over 7th house ( Ket over 1st)in 2006

--Rahu-Ket on 1-7 or 7-1 axes are bad....and further more severe if the Nakshatra lord placement is bad.

--In your case.....rahu sits in Moon's Nakshtra and Moon is debilitated in the 3rd house...whihc is why Rahu is malefic in yuor chart. Ketu is in shani's nakshatra and shani is in bitter enemy sign of sun...hence both Rahu and Ketu are out and out malefic's in yuor chart.
They destroy the houses they sit in and their transits ate also bad, especially when crossing natal Rahu, Ket or the Lagna or the Trimamsa Lagna house.

Dear Kandhan,
the 5th from the 8th i.e 12th shows the exit path...whihc could be a perosn ( such as mother or brother's support) or a karkatwa ( such as religion or leadrrship)......and not necessarily the planet / diety to appease.

I would interpret the above in blue as 5th from the 8th showing the answers / fruits of your prayers...and not necessarily the deity to appease.
