Hi Shilpa,

have been reading your posts for sometime now, could you help me too,

I have been married for 8 years now, and have yet to conceive.
I also have a problem where i undergo a lot of financial worries and tensions, i want to have peace and happiness in my life, to be able to be calm and at peace.

when will situation change, is there any pooja/vrat i can do to change thinks and make them better.

--Lord of Trimamsa is Jupiter,the putra Karak....(no wonder) and the problem creating planet.

--Further Jup as the asc lord of D-1 is placed in the D-30 Lagna

-- the house denoting problem is 1st....and hence not having a progeny impacts all areas of your existense since it's the Ascendant house.


--Althouhg Asc in Vargottama indicates, an immesnse ability to fight the adversities and misfortunes.

--exit from miseries is indicated by 12th in D-30 which is empty but it's lord Mars indicates need to fight/ courgae....and Mars also signifies surgery whihc means a surgical/ operative procedure could be the solution.


-- Running Rahu MD sitting in the 12th house makes thimgs difficult....but Rahu also signifies operations / surgeries

---Without too much delay attempt to concieve using inavise procedures like IUI or IVF.

--Chant Brihaspati Mantra, fast on Thursdays...that should also help, not only in conception but other areas of life as the Trimamsa Lord is in the first house denoting the cause of all-round problems

I will look at your husband's chart separately.

IVF success if a very strong possibility....althouhg all indications are that delivery will be complicated and difficult.

I have one question. You mentioned that rahu will be transiting over natal ketu for me which will cause turmoil and problems. Since rahu and ketu are both exalted for me, shouldnt it be less malefic?
Are exalted malefics more malefic than usual or less malefic than usual?

Rahu is in the 7th in Taurus......and although the exalttaion of Rahu is qustionabale and it's exaltation house is debatable.
However even if we assume it is exalted......the important question to answer is if Rahu is malefic or beneifc.

Shilpaji, Rahu is in the 8th house with Mars. Take True Rahu. Lagna lord with Rahu gives anxiety with no reason.regards

Thanks very much for the help Shilpa... am going to initiate the ivf treatment very soon.

Please do have alook at my husband's details too , at your convenience. He is quiet short tempered and suffers due to this, also there are a couple of problems like-he was very good with my parents and family till about last to last year but since 2009, he has turned totally hostile, which is very very disturbing. doesnt want to talk to them meet them. thankfully we stay away from dlehi so i manage to cook up some thing or the other, but you will agree this isnt right. he was very very loving and caring towards all before 2009. Secondly in all jobs he gets starts on good notes with the boss, but after some time things turn so sour that all the good work goes waste and his promotion gets delayed, for the last 3 years he has been on the same position inspite of the amount of hard work put in. this time around, his promotion was so sure, but didnt happen. I would humbly request you to look ino these problems as well and provide solution.

PS: he is highly religious donates a lot and feeds dogs and cows on saturday and sunday and visits temples regularly.

1)your husband's Asc. Lord Mars is almost fully combust in the 11th house of income gains. Further 11th Lord Me although in his own house is also combust. Hence his earnings may not be to the satisfactory level.

2)Combust asc lord gives all kind of physical / mental traumas.

3)He should do pooja and if possible fast on tuesdays, offer mustard oil and light a deepak at the feet of hanumanji also.

4) The 2nd and 5th Lord Jupiter is in his own house....ensuring no shortage of money THOUGH INPITE of 11th lord being combust.
The Raj-yoga formed by the conjunction of 1st, 10th and 11th lords in the 11th house also re-affirms the same, althouhg weakend by to of those lords being combust.

5) He is running Su-Jup.....until Dec 2011...and during this period promotion and increase in earning is highly likely.

I am facing a lot of problems in career. I am jobless from past 1.5 years. I am a computer engineer by profession. Finally, I have joined my family business of textile manufacturing and planning to start software business from this June. Studies and career have always been a problem. --D30 lagna is Saggitarius....and about 1.5 year back transitting Rahu entered Saggitarius....which as per the rules of Trimamsa is a known period of misery and misfortune.

--More so if Rahu is malefic in the chart.....and problematic mildly even if Rahu is well placed

--In your chart Rahu is indeed malefic as Rahus in Baharni ruled by Venus an Venus is in the bitter enemy sign of Sun, neutralized a bit due to temporal friendly placement of Su 2nd from Venus.
Neverthless Ra can be called mildly bad to neutral in your chart...hence the result of Rahu's transit over your Triamsa Lagna cause the problems.

--Ra will exit Saggitarius on 7th June and this should see your problems/ traumas reduce.

--like tank25 you also have your trimamsa lagna in Sagiitarius that Rahu has been transitting over for the last 1.5 years

--Rahu is well placed in it's own Nakshtra and you are running Rahu AD also.

--Rahu when well placed causes milder problems when transitting over trimamsa lagna.

--Things should get better after 7th June

--Lagna of D30 is Saggitarius, your 7th hosue of relationships/ marriage and partnerships...whihc may be the area of troubles in your life.

--Trimamsa Lord Jup sits in the 11th house of earnings and wish fulfillments. Will throw hurdles in significations of 11th house, even when and before fullfilling them.

[edit] UnLike with all higher charts...D-30 is not so sensitive to birth Times .....as the Asc does not change in about 20 minutes window, because of the method used in calculations in JHORA, see appended below from PVR Narsimharao
So in effect the reliability of D-30 chart is twice that of Navamsa making it an imprtant and imminently useable chart

Please read BPHS (Brihat Parasara Hora Sastram). First 3 deg, second deg, 3rd 3 deg etc of a sign are mapped to different signs in D10. But D30 is different. Not every degree in a sign is mapped to different signs in D30. An arc of 5 deg, an arc of 8 deg etc are mapped together to a single sign in D30.

Bottomline: JHora is correct if you follow Parasara's definition. If you want a cyclical D30 where each sign is mapped to a different sign, please change D30 option and use "Parivritti Trimsamsa". JHora default is Parasara's D30.

Dear Vidhya,
Let me give you an example.

Asc. Rasi in D1 is Saggitarius
Asc. Rasi in D30 is Gemini
So for D1 the problem house becomes Gemini whihc is the 7th house given the asc. in Rasi is Saggitarius.
Hence the primary problem area in his life is the 7th house.

Oh okay. That makes sense. So in my case, my D1 rasi is Virgo, D-30 rasi Asc is Scorpio. Scorpio is in my 3rd house so the primary problem in my life is the 3rd house??
