Hello Jupiterlight,

Ahhh...how can I forget this Nakshatra.I was born in this NK.It is Jyeshta Nakshatra.

Symbol : circular amulet, umbrella, earring ......and coincidently earrings are my biggest weakness.

Jyeshtha Nakshatra is the 18th nakshatra of the zodiac, spanning form 16°-20' to 30°-00' in the sign of Vrishchika.It is ruled by Indra, the ruler of the Gods.The lord of Jyeshtha is Budha (Mercury).The primary motivation of Jyeshtha is artha or material prosperity. The people born in this NK are artisitc, lover of ornaments, costly dresses, dreamers, brave, agriculturists, philosophical and well-talented.

Famous ppl born in Jyeshta Nakshatra

Hello JL,

Jyeshtha natives perform well in difficult situations. Sometimes, they get involved in such risky activities which a common person will not even dare to think. You can throw them into a well and you will find them standing in front of you next morning. 8)

Hi Jupitar Light,

You seem to thought of Uttara Phalguni as U.Phalguni symbolize bed or 2 rear legs of a cot, as it reflects healing others. since U.Phalguni diety is Aryaman ,reflects partnerships as per social norms(family-child),loving nature & responsibility...especially rules the (chayani shakti),i.e.power to give prosperity through marriage leads to kids(baby's bed ) .

Moreover since , Purva phalguni = 2 front legs of a bed, or swinging jhoola.

Purva Bhadrapada = two front legs of a funeral bed .

Uttara Bhadrapada = back end of a funeral bed.

hence UttraPhalguni is wht u thought ....Isin't ..!

This is Bharani NK.It means "The Bearing Star".This is the second nakshatra of the zodiac.This nakshatra is under the planetary lordship of Venus and is within the sign of Aries, ruled by Mars.
Yama is deity of Bharani. Yama is lord of death.
Its another symbol is Elephant.Elephant is known for its bearing or endurance capability

This is Shravana NK .This is the 22nd nakshatra of the zodiac.This nakshatra is symbolized by three footprints. It is related to the story of how Vamana, the dwarf avatar (incarnation of Vishnu) kicked the demons :twisted: out of heaven and brought the gods 8) back to heaven by taking three strides and traversing the entire universe.
Vamana’s apparently small stature, compared to the giant demon-king , Bali, symbolized the possibility of overcoming insurmountable odds through taking steps in the right direction.

This is Pushya NK...... :lol:

This is the eighth nakshatra in the zodiac.It is derived from Pushti which means nourishment. Pushya is ruled by Brihaspati. The word Pushya means to strengthen, to fortify. The word etymologically means "to nourish" and that again means to preserve, to protect, replenish, multiply and strengthen.
