The answer is in your question itself. Only in transits, the transit saturn behaves like Ketu & transit mars behaves like Rahu was KP's claim.
Mars for enterprise, courage, expansion probably matches some of the karakathvas of Rahu. The same with Saturn, he being spiritual, has some common karakatvas of Ketu who is also spiritual.
Actually there is no printing mistake there but you verify your own Saturn and Mars transit to see whether they have behaved like Ketu & Rahu respectively.

Rahu and Ketu Nodes also known as " Chhaya Grah( Shadow), this confusion is always been there and not so surprising as this "confusion" natural to Rahu and Ketu.
