Here is my game!


Objective: To engrave the Nakshatras in all the participants minds and guarantee that none of us forgets them ever by using audio-visual graphics to associate and connect the nakshatras in our mind.

How to play?

I will post an image/ picture / word/ situation/ diagram representing a nakshatra,
you must guess
1) which nakshatra is being reprensented - its name
2) whats the connection - what made you think of that nakshatra - whats the connection you see between the image and the nakshatra
3) Give as much info you can about the Nakshatra

* Best answer will get a point in the score list. So that even if 2 people post the correct answer but one has better info, he will get the score.

It's Ashwini because Ashwa means horse.Connection is Speed,energy,stamina etc.I hope I am right.

Its Ashwini, the symbol is Horse head. ( in the sky it consists of 3 stars in the head of Ram)
Always connect horse with this Nakshatra.
What is the use of horse ? TRANSPORT. Ashwini is called the star of transport.
The power and stamina of the horse as well as its headstrong nature are found here.
The grace and beauty of a horse in flight maybe witnessed here.

I guess it is Krittika,a female Nakshatra (shiny & pleasant appearance).It means razor or cutter.One portion is in Aries & second in Taurus.Connection is sharp mind and cutting tongue,a critic,confident, courageous,straightforward & too much appetite for food and sex

3 20’to 16 40 Cancer,sign is ruled by moon and star is ruled by Saturn.
Motivation of dharma.
Tolerant of pain, intelligent, learned,fundamentalist, overly sensitive.
Deva (god-like) Nature.
Animal symbol- A Ram/Goat


BTW,My Moon is placed in Pushya 2nd Pada.

Guess this time you have confused yourself. If it is Purvaphalguni or Uttaraphalguni the symbol is a bed - so get a picture of a palang. If you mean purvabhadrapada or Uttaraphadrapada the symbols are the front legs and rear legs of a funeral cot - so get a pic of a khatiya.
