Swamykoolji - the lordship effect will prevail anyhow. Guru being a benefic still has to work for ownership also. So, if its a 6th lord, but also 9th, its good. But if it is 3rd along with 6th. It will show the negative effects of 6th house. But still Karaka effects prevail. Guru will still support wealth by fair means, son, knowledge of vedas etc.

Maybe Swamykool. We will never know for sure unless we ask Guru himself, would We? :D. I always cut Guru some slack maybe because it's a south indian belief that Guru's all benefic. The only logic I can think of is that he saves earth and thus the earthlings from disaster by taking countless blows from asteroids and meteors, which would otherwise crash into us. And it feels good to believe somebody is totally Good and uncorrupted :D

Yes you are quite correct.

Chaks ji,

It is not a question of corrupt or uncorrupt. If Guru is a trik lord, Guru will give bad results. Maybe nicely but still bad. For example for Tula Lg a strong Guru will give sound knowledge and skills (by karakatatwa) but will severely hamper an academic career (by Lordship). Same for Vrisha Lg, only a little less severe.

Dear Shubhra,
Namaskar,
Here are my observations on your chart:
1. You are born on sukla panchami tithi lorded by Jupiter and Jupiter is placed in dusthana (6th house). The situation of tithi lord gets worst as it is debilitated in Navamsa and afflicted by Rahu and Saturn. This itself is sufficient to give suffering in relationships and terrible separations in marriage.
2. A7 is conjoined with A6 and A8 and Atmakaraka (also 7th lord) is there too. This indicates that you will have enmity with your partner or more precisely your partner will feel inimical towards you whereas problems from unknown sources will keep hindering your relationships with your husband. Placement of Atmakaraka, which is 7th lord too, indicates that life will teach some bitter lessons through relationships based on the unfulfilled karmas of past births.
3. There is parivartana between 8th and 9th lord. Also since lagna lord is in 8th house, this parivartana is from 9th house to 8th house i.e. from Rajas guna to Sattva guna. But its also from a trikona to dusthana. This is a daridra yoga too. This daridra yoga will come through the instability of marriage.
4. Now, Darakaraka is at zero degree i.e. at rasi sandhi. This indicates enormous sufferings in marriage unless Jupiter/Venus, 7th lord and Upapada Lagna lord are strong. Neither Jupiter, Venus nor UL lord are strong in your case. Hence there will be sufferings in relationships and marriage.
5. Atmakaraka is under affliction being aspected by Rahu and Saturn. This also indicates sufferings and new lessons to be learnt in life. Also 2nd from Upapada Lagna has aspect of Saturn and Rahu. As per JS 1.4.12, the native having such conjunction may either lose or desert his spouse due to a scandal. If you see 12th from UL has Venus and Mercury and Saturn. Family members denoted with these planets will be the one who will oppose the marriage of yours. The relationship between Venus and 7th lord is 3/11, which also indicates trials and hardships in marriage.

First of all, i missed one point in your chart. It is that Venus is in marana karaka sthana from the karya bhava (7th house) in D-9 chart. This aggreviates sufferings in relationships/marriage.
Now here are my observations on your husband's chart:
First of all, lagna was on gandanta in your husband's chart. The tradition of my Gurukul teaches that in such cases, nasta jataka prasna needs to be done to confirm the lagna. As per the prasna, Lagna is to be Cancer lagna.
The details of the nasta jataka prasna are as following:

Hence, i moved the birth time to 3:24:25 am to change the lagna from Gemini to Cancer.
1. The relationship between the 7th lord and Venus is 6/8. This placement is quite inauspicious and causes a complete mismatch in circumstances between you and your husband.
2. Saturn is Atmakaraka as well as 7th lord and is in debilitation with A7. This states that your husband is destined to learn some harsh lessons of life through marriage and relationships. These lessons are going to be very tough, especially in dasas related to Saturn.
3. If you see 2nd from UL has debilitated Moon. As per JS 1.4.5, If 2nd from UL has debilitated planet, destruction of the spouse occurs. Such a placement is very inauspicious for the existence of the marriage. Also Darakaraka Moon is in Rasi sandhi and with weak 7th lord, debilitated Upapada Lagna lord and afflicted Jupiter, its going to create havoc in marital life and in relationships.
4. Atmakaraka Saturn is placed in 6th house in Navamsa chart. In such placement, the native confronts many challenges which result from stigmatic karmas from past lives. The native with such placement of Atmakaraka is advised to propitiate Saturn and in this case, the Atmakaraka itself is Saturn. Recitation of Maha-mantra is extremely beneficial in this era.

Dear Shubhra,
Looking at your chart again right now, i found something which i seriously wanted to mention:
In your chart, both jala tattva planets Venus and Moon are in the influence of Saturn which is Vayu tattva. From Lalitha Upakhyanam we learn that Vayu has a way of drying up "jala', thus leading to absence of physical desires or incapacity to fulfill those desires. I will suggest you to work on this and try to understand that in marriage, physical desires have a big place in stability of the marriage. I am sure this marriage will not break as UL has Surya in 9th house indicating dharma to be there in marriage and 2nd from UL has aspect of Jupiter. The only thing required is your strong will and desire to make this marriage successful.
Here are the remedies which i will suggest:
Regularly visiting temples (UL in 9H), praying to Ganesha, Dakshina murti with Atri's (Moon & Mercury) mantra and listening to / reciting Vishnu Sahasranamam / Durga (Jala devatas) will really help you a lot.
