Dear Rajath,
you chart does fullfilll the conditions:

from 10th house:

9L is Su
10L is Me ....and 9th/ 10t are conjunct

So the Yoga is there theortically to rise to a small postion (which to me means like a department head/ team leader, general manager etc)
However the participating planet Me is combust to some extent in D1 and has a zero amsabala in 10 varga charts...making the fructification very limited. However it is better than not having it.

generally speaking you should not be too worried. The problematic phases are behind you.
You are running Ju-Ve since end 2009 and will last till Jul 2012.

Ju is your ascendant lord and Ve is conjunct with ascendant and exalted.
The Lord ship of 8th and innimical relations between Venus and Jupiter makes you worried/ stressed but you should not be....you are on solid grounds.
You may even get married in this period Nov-09 to Jul-12

Coming back to the original query, in the D-10 chart, sixth lord sun is exalted and 10th lord (of D-10) JUP is in mooltrikona and aspects exalted Sun by his fifth aspect. However, 12th lord Saturn is in conjunction with Jupiter. How does this affect the overall chances of me raising to a high position in my career?

L10=MARS has sun residing, mars in 9th house(JUPITER)


From 10th (Hora) Chart House:

L9=MARS but mars in lagna SUN house
L10=VENUS but veus also in lagna SUN house

job is really killing me ..all nights shifts

L9= shani in the 4th house of sun
L10= shani shani in the 4th house of sun

--for taurus ascendant the conditions of conjunction is automatically satisfied as shani is lord of 9th and 10th....and also the Yogakarak.

--however we must look for the placement and strength of the only planet involved in 9th and 10th houses.

--shani is forming a parivartan yoga with Ravi between the 4th and 9th houses.....good yoga.
Native fortunate......with Strong family support/ family business supporting the growth of native in all times with harmony.
shani's impact on the 4th house though means he keeps the native's ego and pride on ground.

--Shani is not very strong in the dasavarga charts ........but look at exalted Jupiter in 3rd and Lord of Laabhsthan....and an exalted moon in the scendant Lording the 3rd house.

--intellect, comforts, wealth, communication and social skills, family support....this is a allround blessed chart...with the career doing reasonably well, inspite of DKAY limited from lagna and non-existant from 9th or 10th houses.

Hello rajath,

D10 is indeed an important chart...and is good in your case, with Ju in it's own house in the 10th.

However it needs to be looked at in conjunction with D1.....and all higher charts need to be considered for Yogas fructification assesment.

An Aspect of Sun on your 10th would have been more helpful than Jupiter aspecting the 6th house.

Your configuartion will give you powerful enemies, but at the same time ability to overcome them also.

yes you should be successfull in computers/ animations/ marcom type activities also.....because Me from the 4th is aspecting the house of career from a friendly location.
You may desire to shine as a leader in wotrk and at home also......but with limited results because of a debilitated Sun.
worshipping sun....jal-arpan to surya-dev will help.

Why I said properties is because the 10th Lord Mars is in it's own house a strong placement if youi follow the field of real-estate, lands, setting up enginering workshops type of activities.

1)Jupiter rules your house of gains...the 11th Labhstahn and also the 8th house of inheritances/ finacnes / monetary support from otehr sources....and Ju is exalted....so you will not be in short of money from either such sources.

You are running throuhg a good financial phase right now as it is the MD of Jupiter

2) Rahu denotaing foreign conncetions sits in your 4th house of home / residence and the Lord of 12th house of foreign conncetions is also exalted in the 9th house.

I bellieve you will defnitely relocate to another part of the country.....and even possibly overseas at some point.

thanks for reverting! yes, i did live in another city, but that was before 2004, for a brief period of six months before i had to move back in, then i've been here all throughout, done my college and post grad in places other than my native land, if thats something that you'd want to know to ascertain w.r.t my chart.

Whilst we are on this topic could you please tell me what you would say about the career of this boy. 20-june-1982, 8.26am, uk, greenwich...lagna cancer

neither of the 3 scenarios of greatness-Yogas are fullfilled.

Wear a moonstone....and pray on Mondays...will relax the menatl turbulense that you often face

First let us find out the meaning of 'Dharmakarmadhikari' in Dharmakarmadhikari Rajayoga.

Our savants in BPHS etc had their own communication skills... and mind you.... generally people with very good knowledge generally may not be good teachers always/mostly.
Reason being that too much of good knowledge needs patience to pen. Unfortunately in those days we did not have wonderful tools like Microsoft word etc!!

Dharmakarmadhikari= means a personal who upholds karma and dharma... SIMPLY. Now a dharma in satyasyiuga will not be similar to dharma in kaliyuga.

The extent of success achieved in it depends on the strength of the yoga.. and other factors, related or not related to it.
