Dear Khoo,
I have read all your posts with regards to the 9th & 11 house..and you have mentioned both are critical for luck and gains.
I am an amateur trying to learn things..but when i look to relate it with my chart i realize that my 9th , 10th and 11th houses and their lords are all spread within them..thus i am unable to arrive at anything..
I am a girl. A libra ascendant(lord venus) and hence
9th house : gemini(lord mercury)
10th :cancer(lord moon)
11th: leo(lord sun)
sun is placed in my 10th house ( so 11th lord in 10th)
Mercury and venus in 11th house (9th lord in 11th and ascendant lord in 11th)
moon is in 3rd house ( 10th lord aspecting 9th house)
With such interconnected placements my self study seems insufficient.
Could you please help me to get the right interpretation?

Whether 10th lord is placed in 11th or the 11th lord is placed in 10th, easier gains are expected through work. In your case with the 11th lord going into the 10th, it means that you always try to seek the simplest way to accomplish things so that you can gain the most. With the planet being the Sun, I would say it is as if this is your soul's purpose.
Mercury and Venus are both trinal lords for your Ascendant. Not only that, 9th lord going into the 11th is a sign of great gains (also true for 11th lord going into the 9th) and for this 9th lord into 11th the interpretation is that you try to make use of the fortune that you have to seek out even wider gains with effort. Both planets are Rajastic and the urge to do this is thus rather powerful.
10th lord placed 6th from its own Bhava unless it is in its own sign like in the case of the Leo Ascendant, usually means difficulties in the profession. But aspecting the 9th house is not good enough. It must associate, disposit or aspect the 9th lord which is Mercury. But placed 6th to the Sun ie. the Moon, if it is aspected by another benefic like Jupiter, it would help. This would at the same time cancel the maleficity of the Moon (the waning Moon) as well. Where is your Jupiter?

11th Bhava gains by effort being an Uppachaya. 2nd Bhava being 2nd to Lagna are the resources that you have when you are born. It also shows accretion of resources (can be non-finance as well) through hard work (2nd Bhava is the 5th to the 10th).
11th Bhava can cause diseases during the period of its lord. 2nd Bhava is a killer during the period of its lord.
2nd Bhava rules the eyes. One does not walk away from the resources that one has accummulated. 11th Bhava which rules walking away from problems means you tend to roam about to achieve gains.
If there is a common lordship between the 2nd and 11th Bhava and the lord goes to the 2nd Bhava, it means whatever gains the person has he would save it up. On the other hand if the lord goes to the 11th Bhava, it means he can always gain more, if he were to use up the resources in the 2nd Bhava.

On the other hand for myself I have A5 in the 9th. 5th Bhava represent past life credits. So my current lifetime is easier for me to gain spirituality.

Even i have got A5 in my 9th house BUT have A6, A8 and UL in my 4th house..What does that generally mean?
I am a Capricorn Asc and L9 Merc in my 11th and 10th Lord Venus in my Asc ..Asc is free from any malefic aspects..11th house gets aspect From Mars (L11 in 8th) and Asc Lord Saturn placed in the 9th..How to figure this out ?

Even as 9th Bhava represents the current good karma of this current lifetime of yours, 4th Bhava can represent bad karma of this current lifetime if badly placed. In my earlier post I did mention that 4th Bhava represents traditional knowledge (in classics 4th Bhava is said to represent formal education and 5th Bhava essential knowledge, so 4th Bhava represents knowledge that has throughout the centuries been traditionally accepted). So it is knowledge further questioning.
Hence if something is mentioned of the Jataka ie. of yourself without first checking up on the facts wtih the person or whatever, then the Jataka can incur bad karma in this current lifetime. That is why Moon when afflicted, being the karaka of the 4th, causes sensational gossips, mostly untrue. Moon also does badly in the 8th, the primary house of research, which is finding out the truth.
Now all the Dusthana houses represent bad karma from the past - 6th Bhava for enemies and wounds like scores to be settled carried over from the past, 8th Bhava for congenital diseases or bad obstrctive effects carried over from past lvies and the 12th Bhava represents expenses and losses which will still affect you this current lifetime. A6, A8 and UL are just the larger than life symbolism of these and when it is placed in the 4th Bhava, you must tread carefully in terms of not getting into the wrong side of things in terms of opionions of your clan and community. However, your Venus a Yogakarak in the Ascendant would alleviate whatever doshas you may have in your chart.

In my case Cancer Ascendant, 11 lord Venus (R) sitted in 2nd house (Leo) with Sun, both are enemy.

If eleventh house is also a BhadhakaStana, then is it preferable to have a strong eleventh lord or a weak eleventh lord....
