Depends on the planets, Ven 1/7 in both charts means you have different tastes but find each other intriguing rather than distasteful.

My cousing brother has Venus-Mars-Rahu together in his 2nd house Capricorn, and he is not what you are saying, even one bit, though I agree that he is just 21 years old and has a whole life ahead, and maybe, he will change later on from what he is now.

i am sorry for using the word yoga karaka.i shud have used the word benefic for the lagna,tx for pointing it out.one more thing against this aries libra combo.the benefics for this sign sun mars and jupiter dont do well for libra lagna people.

Mars Ven are not bitter towards each other. They just upset things when put together. Its like fire and fuel. Are they enemies? No. They just burn the house down when put together in large enough quantities.

I find a few bad combos . Ma and Ve combination. This Ma and Ve is also 3rd from UL. This makes fidelity questionable. Ma is in Ve nakshatra.
I am not the expert in marriage. Can someone take a shot at it?
Here the issue came from Spouse's infidelity. Ma and Ve combo in 11th ( house of spouse's extra maritial realtions)

The librans and the ariens (lagnas) generally dont gel well simply bcos of the reasons that one person's badakesh is another ones yogakaraka and viceversa. In this case of libra and aries relative position of sun and saturn and the strengths need to be focused much more in matching apart from the nakshtra in the position of the moon.

See, the cool indecisive libran's water content when merges with the fiery dynamism of Mars's fire, the net resultant is lot of smoke, which is unpleasant. But after sometime once the smoke vanishes (i can tell u that this takes quite a while) then life becomes more meaningful. Some look at the nadi's, some look at the yonis.

Also, in Gujarat they look at the Gunak factor a lot. Which is out of the 36 points total...

What are your thoughts? What should be the ideal factor in looking?

I have seen in extreme cases that even if the matches are almost perfect in terms of total points, they still have fights and serious issues..

My own exp tells me that people who have 0 in the love matching factor, its a disastrous marriage..

Deepakji, True, I observed it in so many charts. One more thing which I observed is opposition of SUN - Moon ,give even better results , reason Moon always get the energy from SUN, both souls compliments each other very well . Regards
