Is it OK to consult multiple astrologers instead of 1?

In Vedic astrology, is it allowed to take help of different astrologers at different times regarding ( the same ) problem?

Hi,
Does that mean that Gautam Buddha's family shouldn't have consulted so many astrologers on His birth? Or is he an exception?

I do not know the context of multiple astrologers in gautam buddha's story.
In real life I have see most people go from one astrologer to another seeking the answer they want to hear.
Its a self defeating tendency.
If you don't trust a particular asyrologer, don't go to him in first place.
