thanks for sharing such an interesting story. it's strange that the papakartari yoga and the 4th placement of mars did such damage, it's because mars had so much beneficence attached to it. it's not only the yogakarak in the rashi chart but also the yogakarak in the navamsha. in the rashi chart it is in the 4th house but it is aspecting it's own house the 10th house of profession. in the navamsha chart it is in the 11th house an upachaya house with moon and aspected by jupiter forming so many good yogas. i thought that it would override the maleficence attached to it. even if it had given some little problems then also it could have been understood but the negative time the native had it's really surprising.

thanks for providing the birth details of the native & also for taking out time to write the analysis in details.
"1. Mars is in fourth house of property of factories. Apply karka karka bhavo nasha theory here.
2. He is in enemy sign.
3. He is in paapkartari yoga.
4. His dispositor is debilitated in 3 house of sudden fall. He is also afflicted in nodal axis.
5.His nakshtra lord is Jupiter who is the sixth lord placed with 12 th lord Mercury.
6. In navamsa Mars is aspected by eighth lord and placed with twelfth lord Moon.
7. In Dasamsa he is in debilitation again in the fourth house of factories. He is afflicted with nodal axis. His dispositor is with sixth lord Mercury. "
i absolutely agree with the 1st point. coming to the second point, i think mars is in a neutral sign as because ven and mars share a neutral relationship.in the 3rd point you have talked about the papakartari yoga that mars is affected by, but mars is hemmed by benefics as well and so it is a shubha kartari yogas as well. it can be said in another was that the benefics have diluted the effects of the papakartari yoga. coming to the 4th point, should we give that much importance the ruler of the dispositor? in the 5th point, you have mentioned that mars is in the nakshatra of jupiter the 6th lord with 12th lord mercury. but if we look at it in another way, mars is in the nakshatra of jupiter the 9th lord and it's also mars' greatest friend. jupiter is definitely conjunct the 12th lord mercury but it is placed in the 5th house(the 2nd house from the 4th house of factory so gains from factory). jupiter is also with the 2nd lord sun. in the 6th point you have mentioned that mars is with the 12th lord moon and aspected by the 8th lord, but shouldn't we look at the other points like mars forming a chandramangal yoga which is a dhana yoga in the 11th house of wealth and is aspected by jupiter the 5th lord from the 5th house which is it's own mooltrikona sign. so mars will reap the benefits of gakakesari yoga and it is also forming a dhana yoga being in mutual aspect with 5th lord jupiter. it is also a special raja yoga the mutual aspect between the 5th and 9th lord. i agree with your last point.
but all said, the points i have made here are a novice's(my) point of view and no wonder they are not depicting the true picture. it's only when i will interpret the mars dasha the way you have done it i will feel that i have learned the subject well, actually, very well.

i agree with what you are saying, mars had to do damage. the yogakarak status of mars in the rashi chart and in the navamsha chart though could fool anyone into believing that the mars period would give excellent results. it's the genius in you that saw to it that you didn't fall into the trap of the deceptive mars in the chart.

you are saying that the 4th house is to be analyzed to find out the surroundings of the birth place of the native, but don't you think it is the 1st house that needs to be seen and not the 4th house. 4th house signifies home so i think logically it should be considered for finding the surroundings of the home. if the 4th house has influences of watery signs and watery planets then even if the person stays far away from his homeland his home there will be near some sea or lake. lagna is the starting point of the birth chart and so it's logical to believe that the lagna holds the clue to the surroundings at the time of his birth. would like to know your opinion on this.
could you please post the birth details of the person who didn't do much in life in spite of strong jupiter, venus and moon in the birth chart?

Isin't the Ashtalakshmi Yoga formed when Jupiter is in Lagna/Kendra & Rahu is placed 6th from it ?

tula lagna - yogakaraka saturn with 2nd house lord mars in his own scorpio conjoined by rahu - thus conjunction of saturn-mars-rahu; does this qualify for ashtalakshmi yoga.
jobless 2002 saturn-venus-mercury dasa for 4 yrs, mercury-venus in the 4th house. got good contractural assignment saturn-mars dasa. got a better job with much rise in income during saturn-rahu dasa july 07 and lost sooner saturn-rahu-ketu dasa dec 07 - jobless since then. how does one know if a job break would be too short or too long.

running saturn-jupiter dasa
jupiter dasa 76-92 was growth oriented, while saturn dasa has been full of frequent job breaks/joblessness while rose to managerial position too during saturn dasa 95-01/06-07.
thought the discussion could get interesting further with a related case involving rahu and yogakaraka.
