Julia Roberts horoscope has a tainted Guru . Guru is in Magha Nakshatra , ruled by Ketu . The Dispositor of Guru is the Sun who is in Rahu's Nakshtara . To top it up , Guru is in Ardra Nakshatra in Navamsha . Guru is special here because he happens to be the 9th lord . The 5th lord is again in the nakshatra of Ketu . The positive point is Rahu and Ketu are exalted in the Navamsha . (Changes take place in Kuja /Kuja / Kuja /Rahu ) Kuja is the 5th lord . :)

There could be some truth in here statements , because Lagna is in Pushya Nakshatra . The diety Pushya is ruled by Brihaspati ( Jiva ), the God of Divine wisdom. Its power is the ability to create spiritual energy (brahmavarchasa shakti). Its basis above is sacrificial worship. ( She is known to be very generious ) Its basis below is the worshipper ( known to be devoted ). These three result in the creation of spiritual energy. Pushya Nakshatra increases our good karma and good efforts. The value of this Nakshatra for religious and spiritual practices is emphasized. Brihaspati is the lord of speech, particularly prayer, and of all forms of worship, including meditation, so these indications are all in harmony with his functions.

Deepakji, She has absolutely pure Jupiter with Moon and Venus without any bad aspect in rashi and navmansha. Moreover Rahu is also aspected by Jupiter given the protection to the Rahu. This Jupiter and Venus with lagna lord has given such a magnetic personality. Also see the ninth lord Jupiter and eleventh lord Venus in the second house, a very potent dhan yoga. There is a nakshtra exchange of Ketu and Mars, which is good since Mars is a yogakarka. Saturn and Mars are aspecting each other and Saturn is in the ninth house[House of religion], and Mars is fifth lord[ 9th from 9th] in the influence of Ketu has forced her towards Hinduism. Also see now a days she is under Mars dasha. In D-9 Mars is also the ninth lord in exchange with the twelfth lord Moon with Mercury indicating that Buddhism also attracts her in the anter dasha of Mercury. Regards

What if the moon is on Pushya nakshatra? Lagna in Rohini?
Also does the saubhagya... yoga work for me? I have nighttime birth, sun (virgo), moon (cancer) & lagna(taurus) in even rashis? :)

Thanks!

Sir, As per B.P.H.S Rahu is exalted in Taurus and as per the other classics it is exalted in Gemini,by looking deeply ,it looks that Rahu , a serpent is very comfortable in Rohini, a male serpent and Mrigshira a female serpent, which is upto 6.40' in Gemini.Regards anu

Note the presence of guru in the 5th house aspecting the 9th and the lagna . 9th lord is in the 9th . the 12th lord is aspected by the 9th lord. Guru is in his own house in Vishaka . Note Ketu in Guru's Nakshatra .

Now read his statement . The only statement that makes sense in todays world . This would have been my own closing statement to this thread . I hope this thread has been of help to you all . I want to Thank you for supporting me . Its because of people like you that I am inspired to write . I would like to thank my Guru Shri Srinivas Ji , for giving me the knowledge and the support . I would like to thank Milred for pushing me to write this piece .

All Faiths are Good and Worthy

"Suppose... you try to convert someone from another religion to the Buddhist religion, and you argue with them trying to convince them of the inferiority of their position.........

And suppose you do not succeed, suppose they do not become Buddhist. On the one hand, you have failed in your task, and on the other hand, you may have weakened the trust they have in their own religion, so that they may come to doubt their own faith. What have you accomplished by all this? It is of no use.

When we come into contact with the followers of different religions, we should not argue. Instead, we should advise them to follow their own beliefs as sincerely and as truthfully as possible. For if they do so, they will no doubt reap certain benefits. Of this there is no doubt. Even in the immediate future, they will be able to achieve more happiness and more satisfaction.

...When I meet the followers of different religions, I always praise them, for it is enough, it is sufficient, that they are following the moral teachings that are emphasized in every religion. It is enough, as I mentioned earlier, that they are trying to become better human beings. This in itself is very good and worthy of praise."

Padre Pio is a Italian healer, a Capuchin monk and stigmatic***. He was a special, unique case as he was the first priest "marked by God" in two thousand years. Nuns, monks and even lay persons have experienced the stigmata but never a consecrated priest. His phenomena was witnessed and reported by tens of thousands of people.

Francesco Forgione was the eighth child in a poor family. He followed his vocation at 16 by joining the Capuchins, the most austere order of Franciscans, and he studied with them for eight years before being ordained in 1910. Conscripted in 1916, he attracted the attention of military doctors when he went on "sick call." He fell gravely ill with a temperature that climbed to 118 degrees, leaving the doctors gasping. He was given leave, sent home to die. His father superior sent him to the monastery at San Giovanni Rotondo. Once there, he recovered suddenly.

His stigmata first appeared 9/20/1918 when one of the brothers found him with his hands bleeding copiously. He was taken immediately to his cell. When the doctor arrived, he insisted that photographs be taken. There was no reason for the wounds and the blood did not coagulate, but left a pleasant odor. These stigmata remaining visible for his lifetime.

The church did not welcome the phenomena and they restricted Pio to his quarters, not allowing him to give the Mass or sacraments, while conducting examinations and inquiries, both by medical specialists and church dignitaries. He was kept under tight watch to see that he was not physically mutilating himself, with his hands in tight dressings and sealed with wax. No fraud could be found; indeed, the bloody bandages remained sweet smelling. With a dilemma on their hands, the Vatican forbade him to show his hands to anyone other than his inquisitors. From 1931 to 1933, he was literally sentenced to remain incognito.

On 6/05/1923, the Vatican had published an apostolic act officially informing the public that the phenomena associated with the Capuchin brother Padre Pio had not been authenticated by Rome as supernatural. In 1933, to silence the Padre, his superiors ordered him to another monastery. When word got out, the people revolted. Peasants, businessmen, hotelkeepers and even the mayor blocked all the exits from the monastery, armed with hatchets, scythes and rifles, ready to stop any attempt to take their priest away. Business was booming in the town due to the rumors and declarations of evidence, and the good Italians wed their sense of devotion with their sense of commerce. Never again did Padre Pio receive orders of transfer.

While the priest was in solitary confinement, people reported that he was seen at different bedsides of the ill and stricken. At times he was seen hundreds of miles away, comforting and healing, at the same time that he was known to be at prayers in the chapel. Pio was allowed once more to celebrate the Mass - - at 5:00 AM. The people were not deterred by the hour but flocked to the church to see the man whose hands bled when he lifted them in blessing, as had those of Christ.

No mystic was ever victim of so many attacks by his peers or faced such hostility in the bosom of the church. It was the sheer weight of the mass of people who sustained him. During WW II, soldiers from Europe and as far away as American made the rugged trek up to the mountainous village, and carried the awesome story home with them of the priest who bore the wounds of Christ. One day in 1947, a Polish priest, just ordained, came to the monastery to make his confession and heard Pio say, "One day you will be Pope." Later, John Paul II prayed before the tomb of Padre Pio.

His miracles numbered in the thousands. In the tradition of stigmatics, he had the graces of bilocation (being seen in more than one place simultaneously); distant vision; knowledge of the past, present and future life of the faithful; reading of souls; and healing. He suffered continually, with the wounds also on his feet, and it was witnessed that on occasion, while saying the Mass, he levitated. While in the state of mystical ecstasy, he appeared to be catatonic, though at times he was heard conversing with unseen angels. Known as a great healer, he was visited by multitudes, whose donations helped build and support a hospital.

Padre Pio died on 9/23/1968. On the day of his death, the stigmata disappeared, leaving a clear and immaculate skin.

He was beatified by the Roman Catholic church on 5/02/1999 and declared Saint on 6/16/2002, Rome

***Stigmata are bodily marks, sores, or sensations of pain in locations corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus, such as the hands and feet. In some cases, rope marks on the wrists have accompanied the wounds on the hands. Reported cases of stigmata take various forms. Many show some or all of the five Holy Wounds that were, according to the Bible, inflicted on Jesus during his crucifixion: wounds in the wrists and feet, from nails, and in the side, from a lance. Some stigmatics display wounds to the forehead similar to those caused by the Crown of Thorns. Stigmata as crown of thorns appearing in the 20th century, e.g. on Marie Rose Ferron have been repeatedly photographed. Other reported forms include tears of blood or sweating blood, and wounds to the back as from scourging.

Many stigmata show recurring bleeding that stops and then starts, at times after receiving Holy Communion and a large percentage of stigmatics have shown a high desire to frequently receive Holy Communion. A relatively high percentage of stigmatics also exhibit Inedia, living with minimal (or no) food or water for long periods of time, except for the Holy Eucharist, and some exhibit loss of weight.

The ecstasy and sufferings usually began for the Saints who suffered stigmata starting on Thursday and ending on Friday afternoon around 3 or 4 o' clock. All the recipients of this mystical wounding suffered dreadfully. Many of the stigmatics experienced cruel rejection and suspicion before their wounds were authenticated. Saints who suffered stigmata were carefully watched day and night so that tampering with the wounds could not be performed. When these methods were used , a number of false stigmatics were exposed. Sometimes this stigmata became invisible on express request and prayers by the Saints who suffered them.some stigmatics claim to feel the pain of wounds with no external marks; these are referred to as invisible stigmata. In other claims, stigmata are accompanied by extreme pain. Some stigmatics' wounds do not appear to clot, and stay fresh and uninfected. The blood from the wounds is said, in some cases, to have a pleasant, perfumed odor, known as the Odour of Sanctity.
Individuals who have obtained the stigmata are many times described as ecstatics. At the time of receiving the stigmata they are overwhelmed with emotions.

See the classic untainted Tapaswi yoga . Shukra shani and Ketu are in a 5 / 9 relationship . What makes this yoga special is that it is aspected by Guru who is Retro in the lagna . Lagna and Guru are within 2 degrees . The 12th lord in the 8th is another yoga for renunciation , if other matters support it .

See the Bharathi Yoga . It is formed when the lord of the Navamsha sign occupied by the lord of the 5th is exalted and combined with or is the 9th house lord (original source unknown).
The person is a world famous and reputed scholar, religious, with love for music and romance,( :) :?: ) very attractive and possesses bewitching eyes.

There is a darmakarmadhipati yoga worth considering because the lagna lord is involved . the 5th in the 9th aspected by Guru , and the 5th aspecting the 12th while Ketu sits in the 5th is a class one yoga for pure Renunciation . There is no bigger example than this .

The navamsha is even better . 9th lord is exalted in the 5th , while the Navamsha lagna lord in the 12th is a classic , promising a lot in the areas of spirituality . This is the best example for renunciation in my opinion .

Absolutely sir. Agree with you 100% on this. I am not a big fan of deb sani charts. It induces much indiscipline and disregards for tradition and shastras also. :) Keep rocking this great thread.

Sonu

Sonuji,
Is this indiscipline only in case of debilitated shani?
What about placement of shani in inimical rasis like Leo or Scorpio.
I Am asking as I have an exalted shani, yet I am very indiscplined and lazy but I know few people with shani in either leo(Tainted with Rahu's association) or scorpio (with mars) and they are supremely disciplined and have gone places.
Asking for knowledge sake.
Shalabh
Dear Shalabhji,

Saturn afflicted anyhow will induce indiscipline, lazyness and disregard for tradition. This needs to be seen in sync with Jupiters strength in the chart, as Saturn is a natural malefic and cannot be relied for all matters. Jupiter stands for dharma, morals, vedic knowledge, neetishastra and amongst other many other significations. So, before Saturn, one's jupiter should not be weak. However, the task of giving direction to such knowledge is taken by Saturn. Likewise Sun stands for humility, if it is tainted or not associated with benefics, it can make a person shrewd. After closing in on Saturn, Jupiter and Sun the mind and intellect should also be ascertained. The moon's overall strength needs to be seen to know where is person's mind. And then finally the intellect with assesment of mercury. If the Moon is super strong but mercury weak, then the person may have strong mental stamina but a fallen intellect. Likewise if mercury is strong but moon weak then even though the person maybe intelligent, but mind cannot sustain it as it becomes afflicted. Even when the person possesses much intelligence in such cases, he is not able to put forward the point of correct matter.

It is a sync of many points if you wish to understand moral approach from the chart. When we talk about a single planet, it is basically the base karakatwa we talk about, without any modifying influences on the same. So, if a deb Shani was aspected by a strong Jupiter, many good results can be ascertained. But the basic karakatwa of seeking traditional knowledge and Discipline still goes through a taint because after all it does get debiliated OR gets afflicted.

Trust this helps.

My question is same as Shalabhji's too.

I have debilitated saturn too. At the risk of sounding bad (selbstlob stinkt), I consider myself to be very hard-working and disciplined. Also, Sat & Jup. aspect it. I do not see it translated into in any positive result.

Thanks!

Hina ji , selbstlob indeed :) , but you are not far from the truth . Shani is Retrograde , and the 3rd lord of " self effort " and " initiative " is in his own house . You can afford to have a little selbstlob . Not to worry . :)

Astroboy,

Anybody who reaches office by 7:30 every day is certainly not lazy. You just fancy yourself as one. Or maybe exalted Kuja is dragging debilitated and loudly complaining Guru by the scruff of his neck. Either way, very ticklish situation. 8)
