Dear Jignesh,
Your atmakaraka is moon and your devata for all material purposes is Lord Shiva and for all spiritual purposes it is Lord Ganesha.
You can read my post on Ishta Devata / Kula Devata / Gram devata.
Regarding grace of God, God doesn't give his grace in proportion to your prayers. It is there for all of us despite us without which we wont be even breathing. You pray god to understand the workingsof his grace.
Trust this helps.
Regards,
Ramanan

Dear Samir
Your devata for all material purposes is lord dakshinamurthy represented by jupiter and for all spiritual purposes it is rudra dev represented by saturn.
If I understand that your mukya graha is the atma karaka then it is the moon and maa gowri is the presiding deity.
Some people take the lagna lord as the mukya graha of a chart. In that case yours is mars represented by Lord karthikeya.
Regards
Ramanan

Dear NBjyoti
Your ishta devata for all material purposes is shri vishnu and for all spirituality it is Lord shiva.
Regarding mukya graha there are so many schools of thought. Some say it is the lagna lord and some say it is the atmakaraka. I personally feel the lord of the 5th house (Purva Punya) is the graha of the chart. Hence the mukya graha for you is moon.
Trust this helps

Dear uniquev
Your devata for all purposes is Shree Rudra represented by saturn.
Hanumanji is also supposed to represent saturn.
You can pray to either of them.

The reading of Shastra reveals your Istha deva. You must read through various shastra and gradually you will discover that you are naturally more attracted to a certain deva in a certain way. Istha deva is about love. The deva whom you adore is your istha-deva. To ask someone else to define your ishtha deva for you seems to lack a little bit of effort, and therefore a little bit of love, and thus seems to undermine the whole thing.jitendra1 wrote:Hi My name is JITENDRA BHASKAR SHIRSEKAR

Can anyone help me. I would like to know about my EASHTA DEVATA.
