big health problems.please help

I have posted the same question in another forum thread too(yogas) then thought maybe it should be posted here as well as it concerns health.


I have read somewhere that the combination of sun and mars forms pishach yog and also that a combo of 4 planets together forms tapasvi/sanyas yog.does this chart qualify for any of these and if yes;what are the remedies?the native has been suffering ill-health since a looong time and the doctors aren't really able to diagnose.please help;we are in severe distress.the details of the chart are---

Ascendent--capricorn
sun+mars+venus+ketu---9th house
rahu--pisces(3rd house)
moon--2nd house
saturn--7th house
jup + merc--10th house

DOB---4th oct 2006

Dear Iman

This is a clear cut case of Pitru dosha as sun as the 8th lord is in the 9th afflicted by the presence of Venus, nodes and also conjoined by mars in an inimical house to mars. This combination is aspected by saturn.

Since you are in bahrain the only propitiation possible is to take the kid to the seashore and ask him to take three dips just during sunrise continuously for 21 days. You can also give some charity to old age homes on a regular basis.

Your help and guidance at the time of such distress is really GODSENT.Just a few more questions----

1.In the forum only I read it somewhere that the combination of Mars and Sun means Pishach yog.does my son have it;and if yes;what are the remedies?
2.The other question is;does the planets combination in 9th house mean sanyas/tapasvi yog?
3.Does my son have sakata yog?
4.As far as my liitle knowledge goes;Jupiter is a functional malefic for capricorn ascendent and in this chart its in the 10th house(a karak sthan for jupiter).what does that mean?will he have a good career or very bad one?

I am just a novice;just learning so please excuse if I ask too many silly questions.
Lastly;we are currently in Sydney and somebody else too said about him having "pitra dosh".So I tried to download from the net and do the "pitra tarpan" pooja by myself(i don't have a choice)yesterday(new-moon day).I don't know if I am allowed to do it(heard it later that ladies don't do it).
do you suggest any more/other remedies?We try to give charities whenever possible,and even sponser children on CRY and all.Does the charity have to be to old age homes only?What is your analysis about this chart?what all good/bad can you see?Is it a "blind kundali" according to "lal kitab principles"?if yes;what are the remedies? I am so worried about his future.

Dear Imann,

Your child is born under Rahu MD makes life challenging for him. Rahu is malefic and always give harm to other planets.

The conjunction of 4 planets in 9th is favorable for his profession, easy gains, spouse, marriage and land assets.

Current forecast shows some short term improvement but 2011 looks challenging and health will show steady improvement towards end of 2011.

Thanks for the reply and also for clearing a few of my doubts.
U r absolutely right;prspum----I am a worrywort.Maybe my moon in 12th house should provide an answer to that.But this health problem of my son has been going on since he was 18 months old.And its always one thing leading to another.In fact;he is very soon scheduled for an operation.He actually had his first operation when he was only 7 days old---okay;it was just a toungue-tie release---just a 15 min thing---but still somehow his chart should show it all.One big thing after another----thats what its been with his health since quite a long time.U must have noticed the desperation in my first mail.
What all do you see in refernce to his health,longivity,intellect,education?Are these problems going to last the whole rahu dasha?when can i expect it all to end?can u please suggest any remedies for it?
regarding vedic astrology;I actually have this very fundamental confusion that what does a functional malefic mean?Does it mean that particular planet will not support/create obstacles in the things for which it is "karak" like education,career etc for jup or marriage,love etc for venus?or does it mean it will simply harm the house where it is housed in?Now all capricornians can't have bad education and career.So what does a functional malefic(an otherwise benefic planet) do?how do you take this thing into account while reading a horoscope?
Another question is that,one of my friends who also is interested in astrology says that rahu destroys wherever it sits.The degree of destruction depends upon its strength,the house's stregth,its lord's strength etc but its destruction nevertheless.I read somewhere on the net that rahu sitting in 3rd house gives wealth and good status to the native and makes him victorious(though it all happens only after the birth of the native's younger brother------don't understand how its connected at all).Its also been said that rahu lessens the effect of combustion .Now these are very conflicting views.Which one is true?

Dear Imann,

The sun mars combination is not Pisach yoga at all. Pls dont worry.

There is no sakata yoga as Jupiter and MOon are in trines to each other.

Pls dont do pitru tarpan and all that. It will never work out.

The planets in the 9th do give some tapasvi yog but this is too early to be worried about.

Jupiter in the 10th is with the 9th lord Mercury, so not very bad.

I suggest a small propitiation for this problem.

Somehow try to download Datta stotram by Bhrugu Maharishi and chant the same on all Wednesdays of a month 20times along with two chaturdasis. In all u will be chanting it for 6 days in a month. Chant this and give me a feedback.

Nothing menacing so dont worry.

yes; you are absolutely right.A chart has to be taken in its totality.My moon is in taurus by the way;i being a gemini(ascendent).Doesn't that make my 12th house strong?Is it good to have these danger houses,esp(8th and 12th) strong or weak?Does it indiacte (just discussing one point;not in totality yet) death by drowning or while travelling or maybe by poison? Does it make me a miser or a spendthrift?Just asking you all these for knowledge sake.occult is fascinating but sometimes even more difficult to understand than the destiny which it attempts to unravel.I hope you don't mind me asking so many questions and sharing your wisdom with me.

Oh....sorry,forgot.right now my son is having a very anxious disposition,gets scared quite easily,has troubles communicating,but his writing,drawing etc are excellent.I think all of these are goverend by the thrid house;aren't they?yes;again a point in isolation but i think it cud be useful to you when you see the whole picture.

yes;my moon is very strong and if it signifies mother then---she has a very strong influence on me,i litereraily worship her.yes;i have worked in hospitals.till now no part of my(self) earnings have come from foreign land but yes;we stay out of India.Moksha---wow ! don't know whether i deserve it but i sure desire it after spending 19 yrs of rahu and starting another .........looooong 26 yrs of guru dasha.I know what you mean by totality;we have always been taught to see the full picture academically----u miss a clue and u r gone.
By the way;just for learning purpose----did you have unconventional ideas about studying,education or affairs of thr heart or maybe you married against convention.Your rahu should signify something.

prspum ji----thats the best rahu i ever heard of or maybe it was surrounded by too many top cops (exalted guru,exalted merc,mars) fighting on your side.yes;rahu can be good too or was it;as i said;the top cop effect?what other planets can inspire you to go against tradition/convention?saturn?Do you take into account the other 3 planets as well---uranus,neptune and pluto??will wait eagerly for your detailed analysis and hopefully remedies as well.My uncle;who also knows astrology;sadly doesn;t believe in any remedy.He says you've got to come to terms with whatever ur destiny dictates or indicates.Whats your take on it?

nah nah.......i too don't believe in anything by proxy----whether it be prayers,cure,medication,attendance or knowledge---u've got to do it all urself----get ur hands dirty so to speak.but do u think the sound vibrations(mantras) or colour therapy(gems) can help you in any way?if yes;how much and which planets do u target then?or which ones should i go after?purification-------now thats a very tricky term.what is pure and who is pure?Is there anything like the ideal man or woman or even the ideal way of life in this mrityulok?its a very relative,very difficult and a very deep concept.If u find half of the world worshiping Mother teresa or Gandhiji;u'll find an equal number of critics as well----and all having very valid reasons.I would love to hear ur views on this.

How do I activate the chakras of my son who is not even 4 yr old now by doing mantrocchar or sadhna myself?and right now;its he who needs help primarily.
Will it help if he just hears me recite the mantras?Though how long he'll have patience I don't really know.He can recite "OM NAMAH SHIVAY" for maybe 5-10 times and loves doing that.
which mantra is for sun and merc?will it help if i try to do puja for the planets sitting in my 5th house-----sun,i think is karak for children and father as well---and my father is not doing too well too.I am willing to put in the effort if I know where to put it.

do you think merc and sun mantras( as in previous post) would help him at all?By what you say;the situation looks quite grim.what about his education?career?is there any gem or anything i can do which will have a direct effect on his person?I,definitely;will do all the mantras the way u said----glass of water(finding tulsi here wud be a bit difficult----can i do without it?).

just wanted to know;how would you rate the fifth lord (venus) placed with mer and sun in the 10th house(pisces) in the saptamsa as regards to the happiness through children?the other planets are ketu--2nd;sat--4th,jup--5th;rahu--8th;moon--9th and mars--11th.
In natal chart;as you know; the venus is with rahu in the 7th house(saggi);mer and sun in fifth(sun deb),jup in 8th(deb) and mars in 11th and moon 12th respectively.what does jup in 8th mean?does it mean that it will act as malefic or spoil the houses which are under its lordship?8th house being also important in terms of hidden knowledge and past karmic debts---what does jup indicate in those terms?

phew.......prspumji......thanks for that analysis and also saying that their lagna lord is strong(esp my son's)............u know what;i am a lill wary of analysing their charts as anything and everything negative starts leaping out and poking me in the eyes...........i know that being silly;in fact being totally nuts but u saw the evidence in my first mail.

ah.......u know me now;what a worry wort i am-----saturn----pessimistic view;moon----negative tendencies---worries,rahu--?;ketu?venus---lazy,taking a more than normal interest in everything(passion)------or maybe i m wrong here;what cud a combust merc give me in terms of tendencies--it being the lagna lord?afflicted speech/intelligence/education?
my moon;though exalted;is in the 12th house.My 4th house empty and the lord combust.in my navamsa;my 4th lord is in 8th house(now its getting scary)with sun and rahu and my moon is in 7th house(kendra)in aries.In my dvadasamsa;my 4th lord is sitting in the 3rd house(does that make it weak?) in friend's house.mercury is in 2nd house(bad house) in enemy's house----what more should i see for my relationship with my mother?something should account for it.

Ramanji--- i started doing datt stotra this wednesday the 15th----that wud mean it will get over next 15th(15th oct)----i think there wud be 7 days of puja for me---am i right?will get back to you after that regarding the effects.just a co-incidence;something i didn't notice before.but when i started to note down the days of my puja y'day;i found out that quite a lot of(almost all) important things are falling on wednesdays for us this month.Even my son's operation will be on a wednesday,his b'day will be on a wednesday as well.Hope everything turns out ok.

Hi sorry . But I tied astrologers here. They are not answering satisfactory. My younger sister suffered for 13 years with some illness and other problems.But now she has become quite. She told that she had experienced the bliss of happiness for 1 month. Bliss of atman. She doesn't show much interest in anything although she is married for 10 years. Educated.
