No Pilot Job,help

Good day every one,

I have obtained Indian pilots license last year and waiting for a job in airlines.(currently doing BSc Aviation)
3 years before when i entered in this career,it was very lucrative and demanding but now
after spending my parent's lacs of rupees on its training,the situation is like around 1500 pilots like me left stranded and without hope.
It is as though this field tricked me into its trap and now i am unable to free myself.
This has caused me to doubt in my own abilities and to think that i wasnt fit for this kind of career from the very beginning .

So please see my chart and tell me whether there are any yogas present in my chart for a career in aviation or i ended up doing it just due to fluke of luck and financial help from my parents?(and no ability of my own).

You have just finished your 7.5 years of Shani in september last year, The dasha is of shukra who is placed well being the 2nd and the 9th lord in the 5th. Shukra is exalted in the Navamsha. The reason you feel this way is that Shani is transiting your lagna and is aspecting your 10th house of career. Dont worry, things will surely fall in place.

This is the lengthiest reply to any of my queries so far and also the most detailed,so first of all ,i thank you very much astroboy.

Actually the post which i wrote came directly in my mind,i didnt have to think for it,it came out of slight depression.Probably because of what you said,the Saturn transit.So i didnt intend to write it that way.

Also instead of saying Hello , i usually say good day as it becomes more polite in its appearance.

Shukra the lord of the 2nd and the 9th is placed well in the 5th. Shukra is friendly with the lord Shani and so will give good results. Off course you were not able to experience it all because of the 7.5 of Shani. Now that its all over you will slowly start to see the good effects of this dasha. Rahu will amplify Shukra's significations and also give you shani's 5th house effects.

Yes Guru being in Ardra is a taint no doubt, he is also in a enemy sign But the parivarthana yoga will see you through, not to worry.

Quite an interesting thing that chart of yours. 3 planets in lagna, 2 exalted and 2 deb planets and a neechabanga rajayoga to boot!

You must have analysed it threadbare by now . Anyway, here is what I see. Lagna being vargotama and its lord in the 5th in a friendly sign is a big plus. The seventh lord in lagna must give you benefits out of marriage and the 44 SAV points in the 11th house and its lord exalted in lagna, good income and profits.

I too had a hard time when ketu was transiting my rasi (also natal ketu) and saturn was transiting my lagna. I can see what you mean. After the hard times are over you tend to see life a little differently and certain trivial matters that bothered you before are no longer a problem. The hard times really help you see the bigger picture. You are hardly 36 and for most people life begins only after 40. There is a long way to go . So cheer up.

Sorry to intrude..but going through the above posts of Astroboyji & Chaks I think the transit of Sa over natal moon or lagna is a time of heavy weather
But in my case when ever He has transited over my natal moon (Pi) or lagna (Le) invariably He has given me a lot of happiness & peace of mind. Maybe not so much economically but definitely a sense of contentment.
But here lies the catch when He transits to the 2nd house from moon or Lagna the picture changes. I feel a deep sense of dissatisfaction & deprivation.


I wonder why.......

But every thing hits me doubly Chaks. if good comes then it comes two fold, if there is bad, then it's a double whammy. The navamsha is a bloody mess. The 8th lord is in the 7th the lagna and the 2nd lord is in the 8th along with the 5th and the 10th lord. That is a screw up.

That was a good piece of analysis. My guru would have been proud of you. Budha has made my life upside down actually. Budha is in Revathi, but Revathi is weak itself because the lord of revathi is down.

I am living a comfy life Prabala, That is till now, I dont know what the future holds but in this dasha of Guru, being the 12th lord, I am ready for anything, if i survive this, I will see Shani dasha. Looks good for renunciation na?

Thank astroboy for confirming...as has been the trend these days - I have been ok for about 40-60%. I've had better days - when my intuition was better. Data and logic only gets you so far

Why don't you believe in chalith? I think there is some logic in that system - very similar to people rounding off numbers (either in exams, or accounting etc). If the planet is really close to the degrees signifying the end or beginning of one particular house, it is rounded off to the next or previous.

I do think you need to watch out for losses in guru dasa - due to friends or family.

BTW, I am really bad at marriage stuff, but I think you have a reasonable married life - however there might have been tensions during ashtam sani gochar. Venus being you default yogkarak and position of strength - girls somehow like you ... maybe I should learn a thing or two from you there.

I would like to quote P.V.R.N.R verbatim,

Houses are found with respect to lagna, special lagnas and some planets. Houses are found in rasi chart and in all the divisional charts. Some scholars ignore all these and take houses only with respect to lagna and only in rasi chart. When he transits the 2nd from lagna, he goes over the Natal 8th lord Guru. Shani is the 6th and the 7th lord.when he is transiting the 2nd from lagna, he aspects the natal moon. No doubt you end up being depressed.


When Shani Transits the 2nd from the Moon he goes to his enemies sign. Kuja is with Ravi. More over Shani is in his debilitations sign. That explains the pain.

thanks for your explanation on chalith - and i understand the viewpoint...i'll have to go back to the drawing board on that and get more data before discarding. I try not to go just by blind faith - even though your quote does have some valid points.

Regarding marriage - I told you I am horrible at marriage stuff. Can you explain that astrologically in your horoscope? With 3 planets aspecting your 7th, and venus yogakaraka, it's hard to believe you are not married. Only way I can explain is your navamsa (signifying marriage) is a weak chart in general.

See I dont have any explainantion why Shani has been good to you during this time. If he has been Good to you between 2006 and 2009 then lets wait and see if that good will last or not. Sometimes what we think is good for us turns out to be a nightmare later. But for your sake i hope it reamins a happy one.

This is a lesson for you. Kuja dosha is not cancelled even if he is exalted and Shani's aspect on the 7th is bad. Note Guru the 12th lord in debilitation is aspecting the 7th. 7Th lord is with a Natural Malefic and the 12th lord. Add to all that the Navamsha is weak like you said rightly.

As a student in 1997 my class X board exams results exceeded my expectations. However in 1999 I was quite disappointed with my performance ....even a decade later I feel I could have done much better. But thankfully it didn't affect my prospects.

I thought it would be from 2007 - 2009 when Sa was transiting directly over my lagna However even if we were to take from 2006 initially it was miserable but July 2007 onwards I had a wonderful time professionally, learning curve was steep. However from mid 2009 things have taken a beating esp since Sa transited to Vi.

If he has been Good to you between 2006 and 2009 then lets wait and see if that good will last or not. Sometimes what we think is good for us turns out to be a nightmare later

That happiness has not stayed with me. It's been all doom & gloom since mid 2009. But what I have learnt professionally during 2007 - 09 am sure will get me dividends in the future ( God willing) & what im learning on a personal level since 2009 will make me a better & a more responsible person.However as you said I have always had to deal with disappointments after a period of positives.
