My husband Jay is unemployed since pst 8 months and we have been financially struggling to meet our ends meet.
He has applied to multiple jobs and we have not been hearing back.
We would like to know when can we expect a job for him. We are very tired of him losing job on and off his lifetime and have been even thinking of starting a new food business, really would appreciate if somebody could let us know if getting into food business would be a right thing to do for us.

For the records, Jupiter/Guru-dev is placed in the 8th house of Randra-Sthana or house of Trying/Testing/Challenging times, with frequent changes and general Transformations. He rules the (9th &) 12th house of Vyaya/Losses. On my part, I'm inclined to think he lost his job in Ketu's Pratyantara (between March and May of 2025), Ketu is placed very close to Mrityu Bhaga and within the fatal Trimsamsa degrees.
In my humble opinion, he has a window of opportunity in the next couple of weeks. So, it would make sense for him to give his best shot. Thereafter, things could be challenging until around/past July 2026. In the interim, it might not be a bad idea for him to consider offering special prayers to Lord Ganesha and seek blessing from a Guru of choice (somebody like Guru Raghavendra Swamy, Guru Nanak, Shirdi Sai and other such), with unwavering faith, bhakti/devotion and a strong Sankalpa.

Just you are aware, your husband switched from Rahu Maha-Dasha (a Badha-Karaka and not really a benefic for the birth-chart) to that of Jupiter/Guru-dev's Maha-Dasha in early 2020... perhaps at the peak of his Sade-Sathi or Saturn/Shani-dev's transit across natal placement of Moon/Chandra.
