A relative of mine has been suffering from stomach ailment since April 2025. Doctors have tried various treatments, none of which are working satisfactorily. he is not able to gain weight and is too tired to even step out of the house.

Could you please predict what the prospects of recovery are, for this young person?

On my part, I’m inclined to think the native has had health related issues for quite some time. He is in the midst of Badha-Karaka Saturn/Shani-dev's Maha-Dasha... who is closely conjunct and has kept Rogakaraka Mercury/Budha activated, since both are posited in the Lunar Constellation of Purvashada Nakshatra, ruled by Venus/Shukra. Lagna lord & 8th lord Mars/Kuja is also placed alongside (as is 2nd & 7th lord Venus/Shukra, who is Vakra or Retrograde). Their depositor and lord of the Zodiac sign of Sagittarius or Dhanur Rashi Jupiter/Guru-dev is placed unhappily and uncomfortably in the 3rd house of Courage and Pro-active initiatives. Jupiter/Guru-dev also rules over the 12th house of Vyaya/Losses.

On the sidelines, I’d like to draw your attention to the conjunction of Sun/Ravi and Rahu, as also 9th lord Jupiter/Guru-dev being posited in the Lunar Constellation of Ardra Nakshatra, ruled by Rahu. These are strong indications of Pitru Dosha.

Yes, one older sister of good health but unmarried. Father has no health issues, mother had uterus and ovaries removed due to large cysts.

Current sub period of Mars under Saturn Maha dasha is unfavorable and afflicted so recovery would take time.
Current influences are not favorable for mother's health and home life. There could be a possibility for travel/ change of place/ residence.

Some changes to diet and lifestyle changes could bring some improvement.
Remedies - offer charity to poor people/ roadside beggars is sufficient. Offer food to crows in the morning and can be done by relatives in India.

But then, Roga-Karaka Mercury/Budha being active (and posited very close to Mrityu Bhaga and within the Fatal Trimsamsa degrees) is a big damper. So, let alone Raja Yoga, being a sick Raja/King is not fun.

On the sidelines, native is in the last phase of Sade-Sathi or Saturn/Shani-dev's transit across natal placement of Moon/Chandra.
