It is sometime not easy erecting charts for people born in US as lot of factors have to be considered and if the chart is wrong then readings would be affected.

In my humble opinion, your son might be an enlightened soul...for there might be some truth in his belief.
Considering the birth-details shared in your query, it is observed that Ascendent or Udaya Lagna is placed in the Zodiac sign of Aries or Mesha Rashi, with Lagna Lord Mars/Kuja being placed right there, in his Swasthana and Moola-Trikona. Mercury is hemmed between melafics.Moon in own house is good but receives aspect t from 8th lord Mars. His is a psychological issue and will be fine with counseling by a good Dr. (No medicine required) .
2. Marriage is promised in the chart since Lagna lord aspects the 7th house and also Venus navamsaka falls in lagna lord's house. During Sun mahadasa and Jupiter anther dasa your son will be getting married.
