Namaste everyone,

DOB, time and place : 10th Sep, 1989, 21:04 (9:04 PM), Delhi, India
On hospital card, it was written as 9:4 however my mother says, it was 9:40 PM but some astrolger says, it is 9:40 PM, some say it is 9:04 PM.

I did not have much OCD issues in my childhood, but I remember from my 10th and 12th standard that I used to repeat sentences to memorize it until I got satisfaction in my mind.

I got very sick (Pancreatitis - stomach issues) in 2015, It affected my mental health and due to that I got anxiety and OCD issues from early Feb 2016. My OCD has been consistant since then. I have been on behavioral medication since then but on very very low dose.

I mean OCD is there in general since 2016 but it converted into relegious ocd in 2019 in which I fear of god and doubt my small actions which is related to God and pray to God too much and set a rule that you have to pray to God these many times. repeat prayers, mantras or religious words/phrases until I "feel right or at peace" or until I feel mentally satisfied.

(It takes me around 30 minutes to complete a simple stuti or chalisa or bhajan).
It takes me around an hour to do same small nitya puja that others completes in 15 minutes. You can google about religious OCD.

one more example is like I have set a rule to do puja on Monday , Tuesday and Saturday.
Somehow If I miss my schedule to do puja on these days due to work or family commintment, I will end up doing puja late night.

There is a compulsion to do Puja. One should feel good and peace after doing puja however I get anxiety before and while doing the Puja. Even small actions like applying tilak to Bhagwan ji Murti/picture are done with extreme caution and stress.

My fear behind these compulsions is if I dont complete these rituals perfectly then, I will not get sleep and my health will detiorate ya mere kaam nahi banenge (My work won’t get done).

I have a huge interest and believe in occult sciences, Astrology, Karma and Sanatan Dharma, I want to continue but I fear of these things as well.

Is it because of Shani-chandra yuti in 9th house in Dhanu rashi or because of Mercury in 6th house in Kanya Rashi

My problem is that If I ask any astrolger for remedy, they will tell me to pray more, however this just increase my problem of religious ocd.

I want to do Puja daily but not in this way like repeating words again and again, not out of fear but out of love and devotion.

Please help. it affects my life speacially my marital life.

Hi,

I'm inclined to think Rahu is at the core of your issues. It is more than a coincidence that you started observing the problem when you were in the midst of Maha-Dasha of Lagna Lord Mars/Kuja (who has below par Vimsopaka Bala in Dasha Varga. He is placed with Roga-Kakara Mercury/Budha and in the Roga-Sthana) and Antara or Rahu, as per Vimsottari Dasha system. Further, Rahu is posited in the Lunar Constellation of Dhanistha Nakshatra, ruled by Mars/Kuja. So, he has been active during Mars/Kuja Maha-Dasha.

Lagna Lord Mars/Kuja being weak and Moon/Chandra being caught between strong malefics is not helping your cause.

Since early 2022, you've started Maha-Dasha of Rahu himself...who is a strong Badha-Karaka, placed in Badhaka-Sthana. So, it might not be a bad idea for you to consider getting a Rahu Shanti Homa/Havan done, if not done already. On the sidelines, it might not be a bad idea for you to consider practicing Yogasana/Pranayama and Meditation.

Sincerely...
