Planetary placements for a SINGER

I downloaded a software called Maitreya. I was looking at a known chart and the software said that if

"If Mercury aspects the Moon in Scorpio, the person will not be skillful, be hard in speech, ..... and will be an expert singer"

I felt this being contradictory. How can a person hard in speech be an expert singer.

Astrologically which houses need to be strong to be a good singer.

Yes I am trying to learn bits & pieces....Mercury is in Taurus(and not in Scorpio as you had indicated) aspecting Moon in Scorpio .

Hi Bali,

I think, Singer's horoscope need to have the following stuff:

1. Very powerful second house/lord of the second house should be very well placed (exalted or swakhestra or friend's house). It'll be really good if the second lord is positioned in a quadrant or trine.

2. If the second house is aspected by planets.

3. Rahu gives good singing voice if positioned in the second house either in Rashi or Navamsa chart.

4. Planets in the second house in Navamsa chart gives good voice.

5. A very powerful third house gives singing voice.

6. For singers, venus and venus has to be strong.

7. Venus+Moon conjunction gives a singing voice.

But here one thing needs to be pointed out that: many can sing, but few can be singers. Many have really good voices, but few can make it to the big league. So, to be a professional singer one needs to take into account 9th and 10th association with the 2nd and 3rd lord and also other things.

These are what my findings are. These are very very basic.

There's a lot more into this. Hope my little findings might help.

Hey lalanphakir thanks for your reply. In the chart that I mentioned:

2nd lord is in parivartana with 10th lord(neecha banga of Mars and Moon due to parivartana).
Venus in 8th house aspects moon in 2nd.

However mercury in 8th also aspects moon so maybe not good for a singer.

Your thoughts?

Hi Bali,

I saw the chart. There's a high chance that the person concerned could be a singer. 2nd house and 10th house parivartana yoga seems to be powerful. The third house has jupiter (shows theatrical possibilities). The second house is strongly aspected by three planets. Also, Venus is in its own house—and aspecting moon. Also, in Navamsa I see venus and moon conjunct in the lagna.

So the chart has:

1. A powerful second house
2. Good 3rd house
3. Yogakaraka Shani (Lord of 4th and 5th house) in inimical but good house of Leo (11th). I would not be surprised if this person turns out to be a poet/writer.


Regarding your query, How can a person hard in speech be an expert singer. —I think it's very much possible. Scorpio Rashi makes a person sting others with words (when necessary). They often might be frankly rude, but that doesn't disqualify them from being talented singers. One would often find famous singers, who are very rude in behaviour. Speech and music are completely two different things and can definitely stay side by side.

So, should I consider it that I can't be a great singer for short or long term?
And could you please guide me related any side hustle in dancing being possible on social media?
