Hi,

I've had a chance to cast your birth-chart and observe planetary positions and their condition, in the context of your query/this thread. Below are a few notes that are relevant for your current situation:
1. Maha-Dasha is that of Jupiter/Guru, who is Retrograde or Vakra and placed in the 8th house of Randra-Sthana... along with Roga-Karaka Moon/Chandra (who is not really happy or comfortable being placed there) and Lagna Lord (who also happens to be the 12th lord of Vyaya or Losses) Saturn/Shani-dev, who is also Retrograde or Vakra. Incidentally, their depositor Mercury/Budha is placed in his Neecha-Sthana or sign of debilitation.
2. Strong afflictions to 7th lord and Naisargika or Natural Karaka Venus/Shukra needs to be observed, after checking for 6th lord or Roga-Karaka's connection. In here, Sun/Ravi the 7th lord is placed in his Uccha-Stana or sign of exaltation and Venus/Shukra is placed alongside with Rashi lord Mars/Kuja, who is caught in Sandhi/Cusp... more specifically in Gandanta degree. Both seem to have been badly torched/combust, due to their close proximity by Sun/Ravi. Incidentally, all of them are posited in the Lunar Constellation of Ashwini Nakshatra, ruled by Ketu.
3. There seems to be a strong or overwhelming influence of Ketu, reflected in the chart. He is posited in the 12th house of Moksha-Sthana... also indicative of hospitalization.

Given the situation, it would perhaps make sense to consider seeking help/guidance from experienced and knowledgeable experts for suitable Vedic/Dharmic remedies. In the interim, it would probably be beneficial to offer special prayers to Lord Ganesh regularly (with unwavering faith, devotion/bhakti and a strong sankalpa) along with chanting/reciting/reading of Aditya Hridayam.

Hello Sishya ji,

It all started with immense fatigue this year, but was neglected until October thinking that I will be fine, it is just general tiredness, but by mid October, I could barely walk straight.

Then by last week of October, was diagnosed with the ailment. Since then my life has been tell, working from home but pressure is too much at work front too, and with that I have to make numerous trips to the hospital for various tests.

So, if you could provide an insight on what my future looks like health and career wise, I would be grateful.

In my understanding, the stated chronic Kidney condition is progressive in nature. So, for the current situation to be classified as stage-5, you should have been aware and experienced issues for quite some time (at least past 3-5 years). So, kindly share medical history and relevant/related details for further analysis.

Incidentally, JHora the much trusted Astrological software does not show Venus/Shukra to be combust - even though it is closer to Sun/Ravi's Longitude, while it shows Mars/Kuja to be combust (which is further away). So, this information in conjunction with the suddenness or abrupt conclusion/diagnosis gives me a bit of hope and cause/need for further validation... hence the request for more information. Kindly share whatever you can, in terms of medical problems/issue that you have experienced for the last few years.

That said, the 8th house or Randra-Sthana is associated with pain and suffering. Maha-Dasha of Retrograde or Vakra Jupiter/Guru, placed in the 8th house, along with Retorgrade or Vakra (Lagna &) 12th lord Saturn and more importantly the 6th lord of Roga-Sthana or Roga-Karaka Moon/Chandra and aspected by Neecha Mercury/Budha may not be very pleasant... although, it does create some strong Viparita Raja Yogas and could provide some consolation.

From a remedy or parihara point of view, knowledgeable members are probably right in suggesting propitiation of Maha-Dasha lord Jupiter/Guru, his depositor Mercury/Budha, ill-placed Roga-Karaka Moon/Chandra (with Maha-Mrityunjaya Mantra) etc. But then, it would perhaps make more sense to try and identify the root-cause and thereby, an appropriate remedy (by the way, none of the remedies should hurt).

Thank you Sishya ji trust me I had no clue about the ailment, I did feel tired, pain in my legs and fever since June last year, but never went for any tests. It is only in October, all of a sudden I went for tests because of persisting fever, and was shocked to know about it.

1. My views regarding combustion of Venus:

Venus is a planet which travels close to the Sun. Although Parashara details the degrees within which Venus gets combust, in practice, many other noted thinkers have expressed that combustion effects of Venus is felt only when it is within 1 degree from the Sun (dont ask me for a reference to literature – I do not have it. But it has been taught so and I have cross checked the same with many charts).

Secondly, in the current case, Venus is moving away from the Sun – out of combustion.

Third, neither the current dasa lord nor the current antara lord activates Venus.

2. Regarding your other query regarding why the effects of the stated illness did not show up earlier, here is my viewpoint:

The previous dasa was of Rahu. This is a planet in the invisible half of the chart. Additionally, Rahu itself is a smokescreen. Also, it does not activate the Lagna. Hence there may not be a visibility.

a) The current dasa lord Jupiter is in the visible part of the chart. It is also the nakshatra lord of Lagna point.

b) It activates Moon which is the rogadhipati. Moon also occupies the lagnamsa in navamsa. It is possible that the illness started with the dasa of Jupiter.

c) More than Moon, it is the 12th house which is afflicted in the Rasi and connected divisional charts. The combination of Moon and the 12th house represents the Lymphatic system. This would imply that the seriousness of the Lymphatic system disease began with the antara of Saturn in Dec 2019. This may not show up in the working of Kidneys immediately. Only when the the Pratyantara of Ketu started, it aggravated and started to show up seriously through the kidneys – Moon and Jupiter are both in the nakshatra of the 7th lord Sun. Venus is the badhaka and its pratyantara only increased the disease.

I very much appreciate your views - many thanks for sharing them here. I'll easily agree/accept your notes with regards to my query on (lack of...or) combustion of Venus/Shukra (it is inline with views shared by other knowledgeable folk - more so since it is moving away). I'll also buy into the role of Rahu in possibly covering up the illness, during it's Maha-Dasha.

All said and done (more so in the context of your pointers), would it be fair on my part to wonder the Kidneys of the native may still be functional? Hopefully, you'll agree the problem with the Lymphatic System should not be diagnosed as Kidney failure or Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) or End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). I would very much appreciate if you could kindly shed some light on this particular aspect, as also confirm if it is fair for us to encourage the querent to seek a second opinion.

The alternate thought of both Sun/Ravi and Venus/Shukra being afflicted merely due to them being posited in the Lunar Constellation of Ashwini Nakshatra is a bit of a bitter pill and hard to swallow.
