All learned astrologers; this is to ask I am currently going through rahu mahadasha, and rahu is transiting 8th house currently.I HV been wearing hessonite (gomed) since 2 yrs,wouldn't be it affecting adversely as I HV read gems should nt b worn of planets transiting 6,8,12 houses.Also I am not sure this gem,suitable for me not?
Wearing it because of depression like tendencies,over thinking etc
Could anyone help,please?

First of all you must consider the problem domain i.e. depression, overthinking etc.. and understand how Rahu can help overcoming these.
Wearing a gem strengthens the planet. Rahu is good in 3 6 11 considering all other factors good.
In lagna it eclipses the natural karaka Sun and cloulds the intellect ruled by jupiter. I dont understand how strengthening rahu in current situation can benefit you ?
Coming down to planetary play in your case it is conjunct 8-11 lord mercury. So in its dasha these effects will be predominant. So do you want more of malefic results ?

Hessonite is never recommended to anyone. For me, Rahu Maharaj is in 6th house in Sagittarius in D-1 & exalted in 5th in Gemini Navamsa. I never considered wearing it even though it's well placed. I suggest worshipping Shiv Durga. It is extremely helpful.

Actually earlier I had tob as per hospital records, which was recently rectified by joyd
,may be that's why astrologer in past recommend it.Wearing it since 2 yrs,it hasn't benefited anyway, but I feel more setbacks since then.OK I'll remove it
I Worship shiv durga regularly.keep fast on Monday and Thursday and vishnushastranam I will do that too.

@shiv I have seen that u too r gng through rahu MD...hws that as ur rahu-ketu interchanged nakshatras.. It would b fun to Knw tht..
