Dear Joydji, Lexji, jigkoshtiji, Sujitji, vedamji, sammyho148 and other astrologers,
One astrologer that my mom met has asked not to look horoscopes with Rahu/Ketu in 1/2/7/8 places as it means Rahu or Sarpa (NOT kalasarpa dosha) dosha is present because my horoscope is free from any such dosha.
However most of the prospects that we are getting has such Rahu/Ketu placement.
1) Please advise if such placement should be avoided for my horoscope.
One proposal with Ketu in 2nd house said they have done 'Dosha Nivarthi/Pariharam' at Kukke shree subrahmanya temple.
2) Can we consider the proposal with this placement if such pooja has been done?

sun in lagna can gie you anger issues. jup in kendra can gie kendra dosha. venus is hidden in 12th house, 7th lord mercury in 2nd house and aspected by sani. you dont have KSD

Sujit ji, Thank you. I understand the dosha is not there in my chart. However my question is, can we go for matching guy's charts with Rahu/Ketu in 1/2/7/8 places? I'm sorry my original question was lacking clarity.

Freesoul, I don't agree with the astrologers approach related to Rahu and Ketu's placement in matching charts.
There are other 7 planets in the chart play a role in matching.

I think your primary question is not answered precisely by the members.
what I understand is that ,you are asking about Rahu -kethu placement in the male chart.
This aspect is part of PAPASAMYA analysis in addition to kuta match and Dasa sandhy check.
Here You have:-
(1)Sun in lagna,
(2)Saturn in 8th,
(3)Rahu in the4th from Moon and also Venus,
(4)Sun in the 2nd from Moon and also Venus.
All these PAPA placements to be taken care of.While doing so Saturn in the 8th should not be matched with a papa graha in the 8th of the male chart.That will adversely affect the longevity of the male himself.
Rahu in Lagna ,7th OR 12th from Moon ,7th from Moon are acceptable.
Get the PAPASAMYA performed by a matured astrologer. Thats all .
Further in the BHAVA chart there is a strong Mars+Saturn placement in the 8th. Probably this is an indication of late marriage OR a previously failed marriage !!!!

From your venus if boys rahu is in 2-5-7-9 signs the said dosha nullified.so search for such kind of groom.For example-Your venus is in kumbha,so if in boy chart Rahu in Pisces,Gemini,Leo,Libra signs, your dosha' papasamya " nullified & NO NEED OF ANY ASTROLOGER TO DO THIS SIMPLE THING.we have to consider only Rahu but not ketus placements.
