Hi sujit.
As much as I know, moon is also a karaka for mother. My moon is placed in mooltrikona. An ill placed moon in 6th house should also give troubles to a native's mother. But as far as I am concerned, my relationship with my mother is very good. I think there are no troubles to her. Her being in a service profession might be due to moon being in 6th house.
