Wish all the gurus a nice day!

i am cancerian by lagna and by moon rashi.
This rahu transit has created a real havoc in my life since last year august. My mind has been very troubled...nd i faced problems in my studies including with teachers..i had no confidence in myself and i have been feeling morally down..i became a totally opposite person compared to my older self.i understand the reason behind it being rahu not liking moon at all.
But now next year rahu will be in 12th house( nd there is sun and mercury together)... nd am really worried about the time to come especially regarding my studies..already that there is a lot problems going on in my family.
And i think even my mahadasha is not supporting me to have a good education.

Please enlighten me about the time to come up to 2020.
I simply want to know if rahu will be not let me have my analytical and mathematical skills which is required for studies..since mercury is in gemini along with sun.
already that mercury is not yogakaraka in my chart and that am going through ketu mahadasha whereby ketu is in 5th house.
And an astrologer had told me that i may face problems with my father during that transit
is that true?

I was not at all aware of what Astrology at that time! I even don't know what was my Moon's constellation & zodiacs at that time.
Why do you feel that Rāhu will not give analytical or Mathematical skills to you?!
& yes of course Rāhu has created & is been creating havoc for all Cancer Moon folks!!! August 2017 is when Rāhu got transit from Leo to Cancer. By the way, that period & presently is very very hectic for me too! Even I've Cancer Moon, right now Rāhu's degree has coincided with my Moon's degree. But he is my 8th lord in 8th!

You've entered Ketu Daśa in 2017 Ketu is in 5th house. It will effect your intellect because its lord Mars is in your Ascendant by debilitation!

Now, Rāhu is gonna transit Gemini from March! Don't worry much on it. Presently though Moon is far apart by degrees, Rāhu will influence your Moon sign because he is in Cancer right now.
I'm not a well versed in the subject, so I can't comment on timing part.

Pleasure is all mine.
The reason why am worried thst rahu will take away my mathematical skills is because i am experiencing somehow the same while rahu in cancer.
Since the day rahu entered cancer sign, rahu has been the most troublesome for me because it has been transiting in ashlesha( my moon is in ashlesha, and i was really emotionally disturbed..no confidence at all) then right now in pushya nakshatra(mars is in pushya..where it affected my courage and determination to keep doing whatever am doing despite adversities) and then in jan 2019 it will be in punarvasu up to pada 2 (in which my jupiter is, and worried i may not see what am doing is right or wrong, because jupiter is what makes me a better person i feel)
So basically rahu made me the exact opposite of what qualities this beautiful conjunction brings in a person.
I have nearly no concentration..even if i have it..i feel restless especially when i have to sit down for studies..it feels like am having a hard time...i also lost my memory power( tho it's good that happened, coz i remember being too over-confident of my ability to remember so well..so that's a lesson which for sure and may god never let me forget)
basically i lost all the qualities you will see in a confident,positively-charged and determined person.

So i fear that when rahu enters my 12th house in gemini(where i have sun and mercury) so it will negatively affect my mercury related qualities and make me lose my reputation in some form since rahu doesn't like sun at all. And i had also searched that rahu in 12th for a girl it's not good(such people do things which isn't acceptable in the society)

Yeah ketu is not only affecting my intellect but in my opinion it's also taking away my chances for higher education...but mars is in debilitation yes..but that is being cancelled by a neech bhanga yoga i suppose..tho i know this yoga works only professionally and in personal life it's disastrous...but intellect is what helps on the professional front..doesn't it?


I really hope you find relief after this transit...by the way your moon in 8th..does that make you an intuitive person? i believe that's also the reason u are in astrology.


yeah exalted 9th lord in lagna...but the degree is so weak...yet i find myself being more influenced by jupiter but yet there's a flip side with my rahu in 11th..coz rahu here is giving bad results..you see rahu and conjunction is not considered a good one right..but i am told that saturn is well placed..it's only rahu in 11th being a problem..and i believe it's true bcoz rahu is aspecting 3rd house nd i surely don't have a good relation with my younger sister( also in my navamsha where the true energy of planets are seen..rahu and jupiter are together in 1st house...so i do feel a conflict going on in the back of my mind between guru energy and rahu energy..so here the more i choose guru's path of life the more i stay away from bad karmas)

Kṛttika, Rāhu is gonna transit Gemini on March 2019. Don't worry much about it. Generally Nodes transit on Gulika & Māndi isn't beneficial. Gulika & Māndi being malefic are in lagna which affects your dhi Śakti (Buddhi, Śuddhi, Vṛddhi & Siddhi). You need to strengthen it! Indeed Jupiter will strengthen! No worries, by the grace of 9th lord you can strengthen.

I understand, how nodal transit has affected you! It's good that you've learnt lessons. You can gain your previous qualities by sincere prayers! While praying your dṛṣti should only be there on Mantra (God). I'd like to tell you one important thing, especially for the people who has Jupiter in lagna, when we perform good deeds or prayers we often feel that I'm in a right path & from there a kind of ego which will develop within us! Yes of course! Not just Rāhu transit on my 8th house & 8th lord Moon! Saturn transit on my lagna lord Jupiter who is in Sagittarius in lagna too. Effectively it's kind of tension & I could feel how all the Cancer folks have felt the effect of transit Rāhu! In my case transit Rāhu is with 8th lord. So, this is not a fruitful transit!... Intuition & Astrology has to do with 11th house, 11th house is the house of Astrology!!! 11th house is 4th house from 8th house of occult & is also 8th house from 4th house of education. I've seen most of the people in this forum as well as outside the forum who has Ātmakāraka in 11th house or is the 11th lord & has influence on 5th lord will have interest in Astrology. Have seen so many cases of which one is you.
Your AK is Saturn who is 8th lord posited in 11th house! I think you must've started Astrology either from Ketu-Ketu or Ketu-Venus. Venus because Venus is your 11th lord. Confirm, so that it'll be helpful for my further studies..

Thank you for your inputs. I am very well aware of the ego you are talking about...not forgetting what our ultimate aim is exaclty.

Please do check the neech bhanga issue because i myself am so confused on mars effects in my life because after coming onto this site am actually starting to realise many bad stuffs so better i know this one too to prepare myself.

ohh yeah people with dhanu rashi are going through a tough time...my mother is on her last phase of sadesati...but can you tell me one thing..does ashtakvarga points have a role to play in the effects of sadesati or any other transits? Because i have come to realise that the dashas and also the ashtakvarga have very important roles in deciding the effects of the transits...am not sure tho..that's from my own personal experience.

No...my interest in astrology began in ketu> ketu...i already knew astrology before..but the effects of the dasha started in october with an incident and my interest began from there and i felt much more inclined to it as the mahadasha began.
Now since venus antardasha began..i am learning astrology through different people on net..i suppose it's because of venus is 11th house lord.


Yeah i do want to discover my inner self but the problem is i cannot concentrate( am thinking of just listening to mantras first then once i gain energy from there..i will have better concentration then i can get to mantra jaap by uttering..nd perhaps i can even do maansik jaap one day.


No actually am really looking forward to be of help on this forum...i wasn't aware such forum existed since so long...right now tho..i don't want to learn more astrology even if am on holidays because i need more time to chant mantras for a better future..but anyhow my life will be revolving around astrology for 6 more years during the ketu mahadasha..so am sure i will be able to learn more.

Yes Aṣtakavarga is important! But I'm not convinced on why that can be a deciding factor since Aṣtakavarga is getting a point w.r.t. other Grahās.

Gulika & Māndi has different calculations. They are dire malefic in nature! I don't know either Gulika or Māndi is said to be the son of Saturn. Their dispositors play a role.
They are known as Upa Grahās. Upa in Samskṛtam meaning near / sub. Depending on the context it has different meaning. Here it is referred as sub.
Just like you, I've googled about them, more than that I don't know! Again, don't worry because 9th lord Jupiter is still protecting! It's not about 6th or 9th! It's Guru! Guru is there, so no worries!

Yeah, I got interested in Astrology in Mercury-Venus. For verifying a type of marriage yoga in my horoscope! Venus is with 5th lord exalted Mars & 7th lord Mercury in 2nd house! Association of 5th lord is must for to learn Astrology! As Venus is AK & is 11th lord from lagna, Ascendant lord, Sun & also from Moon!
From Ascendant it is Libra Venus (11th) & from Moon it's Taurus Venus (11th)

So, focus more on present! Keep chanting!

I had actually read it somewhere that ashtakvarga points are important to know rahu transit effects.
But i think it makes sense because even tho rahu and ketu cannot give points to each sign..each sign do have a strength based on the total points given by the 7 grahas.
And if a sign has below 28 points then rahu gives bad results provided that the dashas aren't favourable.
While if a sign has above 28 points it's good results..as i believe it has been for jeff bezos.
So that's what i concluded with all the bits of information and experiences i have had.

Kṛttika, I've very limited knowledge. As you said that there will Dhana Yoga when there is linkage involved with 11th & 2nd house. But see, lot of people will be having that placement.
As 2nd house is what you care for, what one consider as wealth. There are lot of things which can be attributed to 11th house. As 11th house is sitting in 2nd house, it could mean. One might consider intuition, friends as wealth. Astrology is also 11th house. Even wealth has different meanings.
People say that we need to judge the wealth (money as you're asking) from Hora charts & other modified Hora charts. So, 1st I need to think why & how to derive those modified & will have to think so many things.

As I've told you earlier itself, if I say something you'll keep on asking one or the other, it will be non stop!
But I didn't mean that you shouldn't ask your queries! But all other things will take time & we will not be clear.
