Budha dasa wasn't as good for me either. I had to struggle to get where I did get.
Tough field of expertise. So green card started late. And wait time is now over 10 years.
Now I am getting offers for jobs with half a million but can't accept because of the prior legal issues.

Hi Lex:

Thank you for your analysis.

There are three possible routes for GC.
EB1 (Self-application) based on my current job offer. Which requires my wife to do certain things before divorce. Communication with approval should happen within 7 to 8 months if she agrees.

The second route is an employer sponsored EB1 GC filing which I will have to go through again with the new employer. Probably around 11 months to a year because employer is involved. Again requires wife to do certain things before divorce.

The third route is based on my wife's GC filing. This one is 7 years away. Will likely not happen because of divorce.

I am trying to convince wife to stay married until my GC application is filed and processed. So that she can get one too. So far communicating with her is like pulling my teeth. We went from best friends to enemies overnight. She took an emotional decision and it's been extremely downhill and pessimistic from there on. Her divorce attorney has made life even more difficult by misrepresenting whatever I tell her. I have tried everything to deescalate, but no one will listen.

There are the variables. Most members on the forum have suggested that the marriage can't be saved.
