Hi Kumkum,
It is a very important topic that you've raised. I think learned members would
certainly join this.
I believe, before we get into the combination for fame, we need to analyse the
idea of "fame".
What is fame?
It's recognition at a public level.
Difference between fame and recognition:
One can be a top level officer/manager in a MNC but yet not known to public. In that case,
it means, he has achieved high recognition in his professional field, but yet not famous.
There have been many brilliant scientists. For ex. Niels Bohr. But Einstein became an icon
with his hair, his wit, his charm which Bohr didn't have. In fact there have been a lot many
scientists who have got Nobel Prize, but how many do we know of or remember? Here again,
there's a difference between recognition and fame.
Stratification of Fame:
1. Local Fame
2. Regional Fame
3. National Fame
4. International fame
Magnitude of Fame:
1. Mass
2. Class
Ex. Jean-Luc Goddard/ Kieslowski is an internationally famous director, but he's not a mass
icon. On the other hand, Chaplin cuts through all the classes, all the boundaries of the world.
He is a mass icon.
I would surely contribute a few charts so that everybody can put in their analyses.
But I think, speaking very roughly, 1, 5, 9, 10 houses and it's lords are responsible for fame.

Hello Lalanji,
You are right about how exactly we can differentiate the Fame fields. Again I somehow dont know if that can be accuartely predicted by Horoscope. Sometimes it can also be the Dashas in the Prime of life. But yes I am really eager to see the examples. Also I imagines that 9th house would be the most driving force.
Waiting for other learned members to join the disucssion and throw more light too.
Thank you.
