Disapproved Post - is my post gone?

I recently wrote a really long post that took me over half an hour to compose and posted it as a thread topic, but the notification says it was disapproved for being in the wrong section. Does that mean it is gone, because I would like to post it in the right section if it was in the wrong one. I didn't save it anywhere else though, so I am hoping it is still saved in the forum somewhere?

Can I have the text back at least?

I would have sent a PM instead of posting but that feature is disabled.

I think that post is gone and for future, it's always good to write the message in Notepad first and then paste here.
