Mercury Mahadasha/Venus Antardasha + Sade Sati

Hi everyone,

I am Tula Rashi and currently undergoing final stage of Sade Sati until 26th October 2017, when Shani finally transits from Scorpio to Sagittarius.

I am also experiencing Mercury Mahadasha,which is my Chart ruler from August 2013 to August 2030. I will be running Mercury Mahadasha/Venus Antardasha for the period January 2017 to November 2019. In my D10 chart I have Mercury conjunct Jupiter in my Ascendant (Kendra) house in the sign of Scorpio (Sign No. Lorded by Mars. Venus in Gemini (Sign No. 3) is placed in my 8th house conjunct Rahu.

My interpretation is that whilst both Mercury and Jupiter should be naturally benefic for my career, especially as I am running the Dasha of Mercury my Chart ruler, the overall positive effect on my career has been debilitated by Sade Sati, as Mars is an enemy of Saturn. This has a big impact on my Ascendant. My career has certainly been difficult since Shani entered Scorpio in November 2014. I understand 8th house is the most malific house, representing losses, transformation, hardship etc. Interestingly Venus is conjunct Rahu which represents materiality.

I am hopeful my career will improve in late October, once Shani transits to Sagittarius, but I'm equally concerned about the Venus Antardasha period. Any thoughts?
