Hi Learned Members
In my past posts I already mentioned a lot of Nakshatras are very good in Astrology (Vedic).
Poorva Phalguni (feminine shakti power), Stabbatashik (veiling power - meaning a lot of yogi secrets), Alesha (serpent power), Revati (Lord Vishnu has an oversight on all the other nakshatras - arguably the best astrologer but only because of the vast knowledge as being the last nakshatra), Shravana (scriptural power) etc.
Dhanista's knack on Astrology is based on Dharma.
Damaru or the flute represents Dhanista. It is hollow inside.
Damaru is Shiva's drum. As he dances and beat the drum, the Universes come out from the hollowness of it all.
His dance and beat of the drum provides the rhythm for Brahma to create the world, Vishnu to maintain the world and himself to destroy the world with Vishnu's help to collect all the missing links, in preparation for the next cycle of creation.
Shiva is the master in Astrology. He passed on his knowledge to Ganesha his son. Ganesha is also astrology per se, but Ganesha ultimately got the knowledge of Astrology from his father, Shiva.
That is why Dhanista can also be considered the ultimate Nakshatra in the knowledge of Astrology, just like Revati. But the knowledge is something of the creative power of Shiva's rhythm. Knowledge that is pure just like the hollowness of the drum or flute.

Logic and mathematics has no place in Shiva's dharmic creation. They are only tools used by us astrologers in the modern world. But God has given us grace to use the tools so that we can understand better. Use it wisely.

The flute represents Leela the game of life. It is played by Krishna (Mars which finds its highest expression in Dhanista is exalted in Capricorn).
The flute reminds us of the Supreme Conciousness so that our mind is not bound by maya which leads us to use logic and mathematics excessively.
Below is the link on Leela and the 1st two paragraphs which I reproduce here for readers' reference :
http://www.sanatansociety.org/yoga_and_ ... a3TjNERWM8
Leela is the nature of Supreme Consciousness, playful nature. The phenomenal world is manifested Leela. The play is beginningless - as well as endless (you can actually go down to lower divisional charts ad infinitum). The various levels of the game of life can also be discovered through the ancient Leela gameboard shown here.
Leela is the great adventure and the great discovery. Again and again, and again, and again - without any loss and without any gain - this endless game is played. Those who realise the play in the "game" are not caught by the game-board, and know it as the Leela (Divine game) of Leela-Dhar (Cosmic Consciousness). Those who identify with the squares and planes of the game-board are played by the game-board (NOTE WELL THIS POINT - YOU GET PLAYED INSTEAD); and the game-board becomes maya (illusion), the great veiling power that binds the mind.

Sravana :
Although the Vamana story is in general referring to the sign Aquarius, as Jupiter is exalted in Aquarius and Saturn rule Aquarius, both of them having character parts in the Bali Story, Capricorn represents Bali's state of mind and circumstances, before his full encounter with Vamana and Vamana's subsequent influence on him.
The 4th pada of Shravana comes under Cancer and Jupiter is exalted in this pada. It represents Vamana wisdom according to Komilla Sutton.
The other three padas of Shravana before that that come under Aires, Taurus, Gemini respectively are themselves ruled by a planet that is philosophically quite different from Jupiter, which is Mars, followed by Jupiter's enemies, Venus and Mercury.
Bali disregarded the advice of Sukra whispered through his EAR about Vamana's duplicity. As a result Bali paid the price.
Here Venus is Bali's guru so is something like a Jupiter to him before he was fully converted to Vamana's faith.
In real terms, the advice from Venus to Bali is like something you glean from the scriptures through reading, and as you go through it in your mind, it is like spiritual sounds flowing into your ears.
Whether what is heard or what is written (seen), all scriptural knowledge ultimately comes from the 4 Vedas which exists in the ether, which is what is heard, and hence the ear.
