I have a small query regarding this post. In my natal, I have Rahu in 9th House of Cancer. In the mean time Jupiter & Saturn both retrograde in 11th house of Virgo. I heard that If jupiter is in 11th house then the placement of Rahu in 9th house is useless/not beneficial. Kindly throw some light on this & whether this position is good or bad for the native

hi deeps ,wat u said very true for rahu in 9th house.i know a native (03 july 78 ,21:00,Indore),who himself is hindi speaking but can speak Malyalam,Telugu,Tamil,Gujrati,Marathi n few more very efficiently everyone take him as south indian although belongs to north india,doesnt have good relation wd father,wife is living separate from 2 n more year n as he is famous Snake scientist too (as hooby working for wild life apart teaching job) has huge students fan,n a great Nastik too.

He has Rahu in 9th house he knows only one language completed his 10 th stand.his wife is not domineering , actually he is domi/eering that his wife fears even while cooking wheater it is well cooked even after 35 years of marriage.
he is short tempered &good salesman, highly successful in bussinessman.& among relatives

There is no talk of asterism while discussing Rahu/Ketu effects.

Late B.V.Raman in his book (How to judge a horoscope--Vol II) mentions as follows:

Very true. Rahu in 9 house will destroy your luck. You will not lucky in anything in life. Even good Jupiter doesn't help. So yes all good chances, yogas, etc, will not work in your chart.

Astrologers will not tell you reality, they do not want scare you! But ask your friends, relatives, how the Rahu 9th house has made a mess of their life. They should tell you the truth. It is bad for all horoscopes I think.

I have Rahu, Sun and Jupiter sitting together in the 9th house of Pisces. Jupiter is in his own house, but combust, making him weak. I have heard that Rahu takes the form of the planets that are sitting with him or the house he is sitting in and amplifies those qualities. Rahu alone in the 9th could make someone obsessed about higher religious knowledge and even pursue it in a fanatical spirit. But in my case, I think Rahu doesn't do well in the sign of Pisces.

Saturn and moon in 1st house in libra..
Jupiter in 2nd house in scorpio..
Mercury and ketu in 3rd house in sagittarius..
Sun in the 4th house in capricorn..
Venus and mars in 5th house in aquarius..

Plz comment on the following points..

1 he is either the eldest or the youngest child..
2 he has a very good technical education..also he might have studied psychology and he seems to have dancing skills...

Hi All, my Rahu Mahadasha started in mid 2009.

In March 2011 (Ra-Ra), I got my 1st Job in IT-MNC.
In July 2013 (Ra-Ju), I changed to my 2nd Job.
In Sept 2015 (Ra-Sa), I changed to my 3rd Job.
Will I have to change my job again in May 2017 (Ra-Me)???

Basically I am looking for opportunity to work abroad/travel. When I will get that opportunity??

In March 2011 (Ra-Ra), I got my 1st Job in IT-MNC.

First Job was in Rahu-Rahu-Venus, Venus is conjunct with Jupiter the 10th lord in 2H. Jupiter is also under the sign exchange with Mars in 10H.

In July 2013 (Ra-Ju), I changed to my 2nd Job.

Rahu-Jupiter-Venus Venus is the 8th lord [ change] with 10L Jupiter.[ Jupiter- Mars sign exchange]

In Sept 2015 (Ra-Sa), I changed to my 3rd Job.

Rahu-Saturn-Venus[8th lord, change]. So the role of 8L in change is visible. Saturn in 10H.
