Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding my daughter's academic future. She was an extremely bright child and always excelled in academics. However, once she won a scholarship to an International school she broke down and became mentally ill - going from neurotic perfectionism to OCD to severe depression which she is currently in.
She is currently 17 and hasn't even started high school, but is for some reason obsessed with the idea of getting a PhD in Physics or some other science. I honestly do not know what to do, since we have recently moved to another country and she does not speak the language well enough to start going to school.
Can anyone please tell me if she is ever going to graduate from anything and when? Which field would be favourable for her? Is it academia-related?

She won a scholarship in May 2014, and ended up being hospitalized in Oct 2014 and eventually dropped out.

Hi Aquariass, Dr Neeraj will explain you in detail. This is my humble opinion. I am using time zone UTC +2 for her birth details. Saturn is the main culprit here. You said she has problems since 2013, and it confirms that saturn has played the spoilsport. Chart also shows severe difficulties with the mother. Remedies for Saturn is must. Graduation looks bleak. Post graduation is far better. She will have very good time from 2021.
If you are a mother of hers then your influence on her is very weak. She has no impact of yours.

You are exactly right about her relationship with her mother, since she abused her all throughout her early childhood, both emotionally and physically, until my daughter left her to live with me in June 2011 (I am her father).

Hi aquariass, thanks for the feedback. Better make her do remedies for Saturn as per western astrology. She will be better and by 2021 she will be in better position to avail the good time. If she does remedies she will feel better and try to get back to normal. So don't make her sit idle, it will make the situation worse. Get her involved in favorite activity of hers. Due to the abuse of her mother on her she has become weak. But first remedies for saturn are must. She is lucky to have a good father like you. If she is not interested in doing remedies , you can do it on her behalf.
Also she has to be careful while choosing her life partner . 2021-22 onward luck will turn her side . Till then she will have average time.

Hi aquariass, as you are not into Hinduism better make her do charity or help in any form like food , clothes for old aged people,lower class people on Saturdays . I can't suggest you the saturnine remedies as you not accustomed to Hindu rituals.

All the malefic planets are in kendras and no strong benefic in kendra..my astrologer friends will understand the meaning..

I could see a few reasons:
1. Ketu's dispositor Sat is debi in D-1.
2. All malefics are in kendra from Ketu.
3. Ketu is in the nakshatra of Dhanishtha owned by Marrs, the maraka planet for Libra Asc.
4. According to Sh CS Patel, a planet gives results when its rashi dispositor and Nak dispositor conjunct in transit.
As soon as Ketu dasha started, Mars & Sat were conjunct in Libra; thus Ketu gave its ill results.
Since her 5L Sat is conjunct with Sun & Mer, her natural inclination towards Physics and Math is reasonable. I feel from Mar 2016-July 2016 (AD of exalted Sun) she shd have been better in academics.
