10Th Lord In 8Th house

Hi,

For those who are interested in research below are the charts of 2 guys whose 10L is in the 8th house. Both of them are at senior positions in their organizations. There were no breaks in their jobs . Would appreciate if any of you can share your experiences of seeing charts of 10L in 8H and their professional graph.

#1 DOB - Jul/5/1977
Place - Gulbarga, India
Time - 18:04

# 2 DOB - Aug/4/1981
Place - Hyderabad
Time - 17:16

In the first case of Gulbarga birth, my software shows the 10th Lord Mercury in the 7th house giving Bhadra Yoga. Till 2014, dasa lord was Saturn who is also in the nakshatra of Mercury. Currently, Mercury dasa is running.

In the second case, the 8th and 10th lords are in parivartana. Till 2015, the dasa lord was Rahu who is in the nakshatra of Saturn sitting in the 10th house. Incidentally, Mercury is also in Saturn's nakshatra. Though Mercury is in the 8th house, he is in the 12th amsa in Navamsa and could have given travel abroad / long distance instead of transfer or change of Job.

Hora shows for the first case that Mercury is in conjunction with 2L/3L Saturn in 8H. Also Moon the 8L is in conjunction with Sun the 9L in the 7H. There is a 7L Mer and 8L Mer parivartan.

In the 2nd case yes the guy was abroad for 3 yrs and he is bck again in India last year, also had a change of job last year.

My question was that in both cases there is no indication of 8H activity in profession in any form inspite of the 10L placed in 8H.

How many times an astrologer could have predicted that these 2 horoscope will absolutely not indicate any 8H related activities in their profession ?

What kind of profession are you in Joe ? Also are your working hours in the night or were the transfers sudden or unexpected
or did those transfers make a big life changing transformations ?

Defence, no fixed working hours many times 24X7 , sometimes unexpected transfers, but mostly not. Transformations - depends on what you mean there.

Thanks for the feedback. 10L in 8H has given you a job which involves a lot of risk. As per your feedback it was Rahu-Jupiter-Mercury[ 29-05-1990] Jupiter [8L] and Mercury 2L are in sign exchange. Venus the 10L conjunct Mercury and Sun in 8H. Many Rajyogas at 2-8 axis. 5L and LL[Sun] aspecting each other. 5LJupiter and 10L Venus aspecting each other. LL Sun conjunct with 10L Venus. The anter dasha lord Jupiter is aspecting the 10th lord of D-1, 10H of D-1 and D-9. Jupiter is Akash Tattwa.Are you working in Indian Navy?

Thanks for the feedback. Since your 10th lord Venus is in Pisces a watery sign ,I thought you are a pilot in Navy not in Air Force. Moreover 8H is also indicating below the earth. May be retrograde Venus giving the results from previous house i.e Aquarius[Airy sign] that is why you are in Air Force.

Thanks, yes navmansha lord of Venus is Saturn and Venus and Saturn are exchanging the sign . Saturn is airy. It looks a perfect explanation. Jupiter the Aakasha Tatwa is influencing the Venus both in D-1 and D-9.

Mars and Saturn plays a very important role to see the career in armed forces. Mars the Yogakarka is aspecting your 10th house and Saturn from 9th house aspecting the 3H the house of valour. 3rdlord Venus is in 8H the house of risk under many Rajyogas. Venus is also the 10th lord from Moon and Lagna. In D-9 Mars the Lagna lord is in 3H and Saturn is asprcting the 10th house[ due to sign exchange]. Please see Yogakarka Mars is not only in own house in D-1 but in Kendra and exalted in D-9. From Jaimini astrology, Sun is Amk, Mercury is Ak closely conjunct in 8H from Lagna aspected by Jupiter[Pk] in Karkamsha Lagna[Since Mercury the Ak is in Pisces navmansha] and in 6H from Aarudh Lagna.

Here is another chart where the 10L is in the 8H. The native has had no break and is in a top position in a project management company. He has extensive Inland and Foreign tours(nearly twenty five days a month).
He also has Ketu in the 10H. Dasa of the 10L is ON.

T.O.B[16-30] is exact which is usually a approximation and at 18-34 Kanya Lagna is starting, so its doubtful. A very strong Lagna adhi Yoga is forming both from Leo and Virgo Lagna ,must have made him very rich.

@anuradha ji,

Taking such simple escape routes to avoid a possible difficulty is not proper. While there may be merit in what you say regarding correctness of the birth time, nothing can be said for certain till other events of life have been verified. And it is also possible that the error is on the other side - earlier to 18-30, which will simply reinforce the issue !!!

I have 10th lord in 8th house. I had difficulties during college and also faced unemployment for 2 years after graduation. Then I got an entry level job in an MNC but that too was filled with obstacles. No scope of growth or appreciation for work.
I was posted on different short term projects but no long term project.
Currently I have quit my job and I am considering freelancing in the creative field.

8th is 11th from 10th house, so it can be good for profession too. May be u have to see the strength of 8th lord too and friendship of 8th with 10th and so on.

This is another chart having 10th Lord in 8th house exalted and ketu in 10th house. He had delayed career and financial not doing good as of now. Is there Any chances of improvements in future? Foreign travel yoga's and strong career.

Aravind-its outcome differs from case to case depending upon 10th lords MTK /BAV /DISPOSITORS / in D1-D9-D10 charts.we can't generalise it for all charts.Let me explain in detail with BrahmaKumari's chart given in this thread.

10th L-Jptr in 8th of libra.Its dispositor in papa karthari.jupiter with low BAV,,so gives negative results.The same 10th lord also spoiled 6th house significations[subordination] and 3rd house significations[communication skills]too.Running dasa rahu not supportive to native to grow in his present job.Native has to work under low qualified bosses.6th lord in papa karthari again.Here 10th lord only favourable to natives health and his kids welfare and progress not for natives professional graph.D9 10th lord weak in 9th[debilitation]

10th to 10th lord mercury in papa karthari again.From 10th lord jupiter,the 10 lord is moon in 10th of D1 but with puller ketu.In D9-From libra,the 10th cancer occupied by ketu again & it loed in 12th too.10th of D1 with less SAV.

If i am right -his period between 18-5-2016 to 6-6-2017 is a kind of hell in his profession.But one thing's sure that such a 8th house placed 10th lord give ample of fresh opportunities whenever the native lost his or sacked from his job by authorities.

10th house and lord governs what activities you may need to work on to earn living, based on which sign it is and who the lord is and where it sits.

now if 8th lord of obstructions gets involved then it derails all possibilities of you earning steady paycheck. Beyond other problems in chart, this is one of the worst conjunctions (8th + 10th lord together, exchange, aspect or any other relation) to have esp. for male natives. CAreer will be total mess, have seen it in many charts. Its also limites how high the native can rise if working in professional field for someone else.

Generally 10th house and lord if free from afflictions and obstructions is desirable.
