Hi,

As per parashari astrology we know that in certain (probably "even" rashis) if a planet is at high degrees, it is treated to be in balyawastha (childhood) and so considered very weak in giving result (espcially so if it is at highest degrees out of all planets). But at the same time as per Jaimini astrology, the same planet ( assuming it is at the highest degree out of all the planets in the chart ) is treated as the Atmakaraka and the entire chart is said to be revolving around the Atmakaraka (AK). So that makes Atmakaraka very important. But that clearly sounds like a contradiction! What is very weak as per Parashari system becomes the most important planet as per Jamini. Can someone please throw some light on this? I am sure many people must have thought of this before.

Dear ddd
These 2 are things from different systems and one shd not mix them.
Its like mixing up Allopathy and Homeopathy which certainly is not an advisable thing.
Plz read and interpret the two things as per their classics.
God bless you
Neeraj
