No particular planet usually remains good or otherwise throughout life.

lexicon008 wrote:Hi,

I have a couple of questions. Here are the specifics of my birth:

Date of Birth: 26/9/1986
Time of Birth: 2:32 am
Place of Birth: Westwood, NJ (40° 59′ 20.51″ N, 74° 1′ 54.74″ W)

I have a few interesting combinations that I wanted some clarification on as I am a Cancer ascendant. I have Mars in Sagittarius in the 6th house, which aspects Rahu in Pisces in the 9th house. Both of these mutually aspect the ascendant, with Mars's 8th house aspect and Rahu's trinal aspect. Additionally, I have Moon in Gemini in 12th house, which directly looks at Mars. I hear that Mars aspecting Rahu prevents Rahu from acting adversely and especially it being yogakaraka for cancer ascendant, makes it even better. However, I hear that natural malefics aspecting the ascendant is not good. What is your opinion of this, given Mars's status of yogakaraka and its aspect on Rahu? Your thoughts on Mars aspecting Rahu are welcome to.

Staying with Rahu in Pisces in the 9th house, I also have Saturn in Scorpio in the 5th house. Clearly, Rahu also aspects Saturn. I hear that this creates Daridra Yoga, which is not very good. However, due to the previously assumed (at least by me) positive aspect of Mars on Rahu, does that make this aspect less negative?

I also have Mercury, Sun, and Ketu in Gemini in 3rd house. Is this yoga any good? Asides from Rahu in Pisces in 9th house, there are no other aspects to this combination.

Having Ketu in 3rd house, I hear is good, but in the sign of Gemini is not. Saturn in 5th house is not good, nor does being in Scorpio help. How does their mutual aspect on the 7th house, which they both have full aspect on, bode for me? How about their aspect on the 11th house, which Ketu has full aspect on and Saturn has aspect due to it being 7th from its location?

I also have Jupiter in Aquarius in 8th house, retrogade. I know this is not a good position, and if it does carry the effect of the previous house, that is even worse, because it is debilitated in Capricorn and has least digbala in 7th house. Due to its being in the 8th house, it has aspect on the 2nd house, which Saturn has full aspect on due to 10th aspect. What can you say about this?

I guess to a more positive side, I believe I have Chandra-Mangal Yoga, due to Moon in Gemini in 12th house having full aspect on Mars in Sagittarius in 6th house, and vice versa. How strong is this? I am guessing not very much so, as Gemini is not a very good sign for Moon.

I also believe I have Marud (Vayu) Yoga, due to Moon in Gemini in 12th house being fifth from Jupiter in Aquarius in 8th house. These are all trine to Venus in Libra in 4th house. Only Venus is placed well, with 8th house not being good for Jupiter and Gemini not being a good sign for Moon. Venus is also otherwise unaspected. Additionally, I have Sun in Virgo in 3rd house, which is in kendra from Moon. Does this fulfill the conditions for Marud (Vayu) Yoga? How strong is it?

I also have in kendra from Moon, pretty much all malefics (with the exception of Mercury): Moon in Gemini in 12 house; Sun, Mercury, and Ketu in Virgo in 3rd house; Mars in Sagittarius in 6th house; and Rahu in Pisces in 9th house. Does this have any meaning or is this a particular yoga? If so, what is its name and its meaning?

I was told by a tarot card reader that I would have a choice in marriage. I was told by an astrologer that I would have 2 marriages. I am pretty sure that I could not allow my parents to find someone for me, as I have no faith in their choices. This isn't rebellion, but just 2 decades of evidence. My mother had debilitated Jupiter in 6th house, and I can see why. Additionally, my mother's relative had a very painful divorce. I do believe in astrology, but I certainly believe better choices could have been made. On my father's side, a relative went through a very death-like (almost was a death) separation. I won't go into details, but nothing indicates to me that anything will change if I let them find someone for me. At this point, nothing seems to indicate that anything will happen for me, despite having Saturn, 7th lord in 5th house (for marriage), not only in my birth chart, but actually right now. Additionally, I am running Saturn mahadasha and Saturn antardasha currently. What do you see from the combinations that I mentioned above? Saturn mahadasha and antardasha will run for a bit more than a year and a half. Hope to get some clarification from more experienced people. Please note that I do have retrograde Jupiter (for children).

Regards,
In my view, your Mars, Jupiter is weak. It could bring challenges to job, health and financial instability. Third house is fairly strong as exalted Mercury but will have stress due to conjunction with Ketu. Consider doing remedies for Ketu.
Venus in own house becomes strong. Current dasa of Saturn is well placed but can bring anxiety to self, parents and job.

If you have the right knowledge, EXACT predictions can be made. Astrology is an incredible tool for guidance, and one should take note of the energies of changing dasha lords.

Mars is in rogamsa in navamsa and is therefore a rogakaraka. Jupiter as the 6th lord and Saturn as the tenant of Mars are also capable of causing roga. Aspect of Mars on Lagna in your chart is not good. Its aspect on Rahu and the latter’s aspect on Lagna are also not very positive.
Planets posted in trines generally give good results. Rahu is in the nakshatra of Mercury and thus its aspect on Saturn is not bad either. Moreover, you are in the dasa of Saturn and Rahu is largely inactive except during some antaras. So you need not worry at all. But Rahu in the 9th and it being the star lord of Moon may also imply that you may not like to conform to strict religious practices.
Mercury, Sun and Ketu are in Virgo – not Gemini. They are far apart from each other though Mercury and Ketu are in the same nakshatra. There is no yoga formed. Ketu in the third makes a younger co-born less likely. 3rd lord in 3rd house means good and quick in written communication and other forms of communication using hands and Ketu makes the sub conscience more inquisitive. 2nd lord in the third may imply short family tours, family and financial support for entertainment activities etc.
Saturn in anuradha star makes you intensely and secretly possessive and yet its influence on the 7th makes you have many negative thoughts w.r.t marriage. Aspect by Ketu from the house of courage makes you a bit careless with regard to approach towards the same.
The placement of Jup – Sat in 10-4 w.r.t each other may imply that you need to put in a lot of efforts to make money. Their combined aspect on the 2nd may imply that family and finance could turn out to be your primary interests – a home bird, perhaps.
The Chandra mangala yoga might simply mean you can make money through working in a place where a number of women employees work (hospitals, for e.g).
Marud yoga ??
All malefic in Kendras from Lagna indicates Sarpa yoga. But from Moon ? I don’t have a clear answer but just guessing – any difficulties to or connected with the symbolism of Moon (mother, body fluids, mind etc)?
Your marriage can very well occur any time after July 2016 when Jupiter transits to Virgo. Transit of Venus through the 1st or 7th can trigger marriage.
