I am a surgeon from India. I am intending to invest in a medical device startup founded by an Italian, as of now trying to establish itself in USA. It is an intravenous access device (used in peripheral veins). Kindly tell me if it will be profitable for me.

Its great, you are getting involved as a Business Partner to a Pharmaceutical Medical Devices company ( I am not sure, are you would bea Franchisee or say on behalf of Italian company a Licentiate or you would be in Medical advice as a consultant... nature of business not specified/)
Already you are an Consultant or a Surgeon having Individual practice ( even you are attached as a consultant to Trust or Corporate hospital, you would be aligned as a business or Professional)... by natal chart, it would be difficult to predict profit of a new venture with start-up venture, only K.P.Prashna through can or able to look what it is portrays. Select a K.P.Prashna number between 1 and 249 and send it on my email along with only one query.
BTW, I guess there would be conflict of interest involved in this start-up venture, you have to escalate to appropriate levels, or through medical communications documents, if you are getting associated to medical device company as a third party intermediary or even funding that company to get established in Indian soil
I guess your associations and MCI , does they need to approve this approval, per Compliance ? ( there is no quid-pro-quo)
