Hi,
First apologies if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't find any sections directly on point to my query.
I would like someone to explain how we determine the hora's applicable throughout the day. I was listening to a lecture from a well known astrologer who explained that hora starts with SUN then > Venus>Mercury>Moon>Saturn>Jupiter>Mars. His view was the FIRST HOUR of Sunday (so 00.00 - 00.59 or 12.00am - 12.59am) belongs to Sun then 1am-1.59am belongs to Venus and so on ie: no reference to SUNRISE.
When I read another text on Hora it advises that Hora is to be determined from the TIME OF SUNRISE. So the FIRST HOUR AFTER SUNRISE on SUNDAY belongs to SUN, next hour belongs to Venus, then Mercury then Moon etc...
Which is it? Is Hora based on SUNRISE timings? or clock timings (ie: at midnight the hora lord for that day starts the cycle)?
Can someone please explain.
How is hourly HORA determined?

Hora begins at sunrise and loops till the next sunrise.
