A friend recently mentioned about the condition of his son, apparently he is struggling with speech, resulting in a speech therapy. He is an active boy, seems normal at the outset. A couple of days ago they went for a second opinion and it was suggested that it could be a case of Autism.I asked for his birth details and would like to have your feedback.
DOB: 30/9/09
TOB: 3:18am
POB:Ampang,Malaysia
From my assessment he is currently on Mars dasha (yogakaraka in the 12th house in the nakshatra of Jupiter). Jupiter is debilitated with Rahu and Moon in the 7th house and aspecting the lagna. Jupiter is in Mars nakshatra and also receives aspect from Mars. Although there is Neecha Bhanga for Jupiter its still giving the effect of 6th lord. Moon is in close degree with Jupiter and Mars, so there is some level of affliction. Sun and Saturn (combust) are in conjunction but in a good dignity. They receive the aspect of Mars. Mercury is with Venus in the second house in a strong dignity. In the Navamsha Moon is in its own sign and Jupiter gains strength in Leo while Mars (in 8th house) is Vargottama aspecting Mercury (8th lord) in the 2nd house. Jupiter is in Rahu/Ketu axis. In Trishamsha, Sun the 6th lord is in Pisces Ascendant and Jupiter the ascendant lord is debilitated aspected by Mars from the 8th house. From Jaimini angle he is running Rashi Dasha of Cancer and the 6th house is being aspected by GK,AmK and DK confirming his health issue.
Although patterns of health challenges are visible, I would not categorise it as autism (unless I'm missing something here). His Rahu/Taurus Dasha starts in 2017. I would think that there will be a discernible improvement in his health during this period as Rahu is forming a Raja Yoga in the birth and Navamsha chart. Chara dasha also seems to indicate some good progress in education. Jupiter dasha may present a lot of challenges however. Considering this I would think Jupiter is the most mischievous planet therefore remedial measures should be for Guru? Perhaps Guru mantra on Wednesdays?

As you say Guru is neecha, it is not so. Guru may be in makara sign, look where Guru is deposited in nk. Guru is in Kuja's nk and there is nakshatra parivartana happening between Guru and Kuja, that is between 7th and 12th bhava.
Being retro Guru and not neecha in Kuja's nk, Kuja is 5th and 10th lord and Guru is 9th lord.
Kuja is in twelfth bhava, so yogakaraka strength gets diluted.
But the problem for kid is speech and communication
Shukra is Karaka for 2nd house
Budha is Karaka for communication
In his chart
Ravi is karaka
Shukra is too for speech
Budha is 3rd lord for communication
Parivartana happening between Ravi and Budha
But fundamental issue is Shukra is badhaka in second bhava..speech house
Rahu aspects third house
Rahu in sixth bhava
Shani eighth bhava gets linked in 3rd bhava i.e Virgo house normal zodiac house..disease house

gurappa, Lagna Lord Venus and Mercury in close conjunction resulting in planetary warfare......Mercury has become very weak ......Proper remedies for Venus and Mercury Must. The chart also shows bitter relationship between you and your husband.Chart also shows some difficulty with you.

Gurappa, In your child's case general remedies will not suit.....You must do specific remedies to improve the situation.

Lagna lord and sthira karaka for speech Mercury is in the 8th house along with the 12th lord Sun and the 8th lord Mars. All these three planets aspect the 2nd house. Lagna lies along the Rahu Ketu axis. Moon occupies the 7th house (badhaka sthana) and is degree wise conjunct with Ketu. The house itself is strongly and beneficially aspected by its own lord Jupiter.
The second house is in papakartari yoga and its lord Venus is strongly posited in the 9th house which is its own. Venus receives aspect from Saturn (rogakaraka) and Rahu. Its position as the 8th from the 2nd is not good as far as the 2nd house is concerned. Its nakshatra lord is also Moon.
In shastamsa, Lagna is occupied by Moon, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu. It is aspected by Mars and Saturn. Mercury is in the 6th house and Venus in the 12th. The 2nd house is aspected only by Mars while the 2nd lord is unaspected.
Overall, there are deficiencies w.r.t health in general and speech in particular. There could be delayed speech or stammering (the 3rd house relating to the throat is also afflicted by Sat, Mars and Ketu but again protected by Jupiter) for instance. But it might not get to the stage of autism due to the benefic aspect of Jupiter on the Moon which is conjunct with Ketu.
Continuous prayers to Lord Ganapati will help.
