Also please tell me the best muhurat for wearing it.

I don't know what is the best process, but what I have done for wearing pearl couple of months ago is as follows:
Checked for 1. Pushya Nakshatra in 2. Shukla Paksha on 3. Monday morning in 4. Chandra's hora.
Washed the pearl with simple water, then with Unboiled milk, and finally with gangajal.
Recited OM NAMAH SHIVAY 108 times after lighting an incense.
Recited OM SOM SOMAY NAMAH 108 times.
Prayed to the god for the best results from wearing pearl, and it was done.
I did it after researching on the internet. Many sites were prescribing time frame between 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon, but I preferred hora timings of Chandra.
