Saturn in honor of his exaltation | Till November 2, 2014

Dear Seniors and fellow colleagues

A couple of days left to each November 2, 2014 when Lord Saturn enters Scorpio. Wanted to start a post in honor of Saturn's exaltation.

The intent is to discuss what changes we have faced, what experiences we have faced during this period of Saturn's exaltation and probably we can aid each to understand the reasons thereto.

Like in my case (Capricorn Ascendant) with Saturn exalted in 10th House, I am bright days of my career but with a loss in my personal life matters - separation from parents, marital disputes, etc. (Saturn in 4th from Natal Moon). I have been accused with false allegations which has eventually led to a court case, which led me to move somewhat from non-court/corporate legal practice into litigation oriented practice. But above all what i have actually gained is Astrology - a subject which gives me immense pleasure to study, research, discuss and my thirst keeps on growing. My first child is born. I got a lot of recognition in my field of work. I don't know or can judge the degree of maleficence of Saturn but honestly, Saturn makes you learn by experience.

What has happened has happened. It cannot be traced back.But I feel enriched with bitter but true experience of life.

Interestingly I am also a Capricorn Ascendant- Career has been a complete disaster and downhill despite exaltation in the 10th house from lagna

I some where read in this forum or other site that Saturn in 10th acts like Guru of old Gurukul system. Very strict but what he teaches is as per Karma backlog and all for good things.

For me Saturn moves to 10th this November. I am ready to be trained, i like a Guru teaching me good things in life.

Dear Astro123 and Powerboss. You see that is my intent rather I should say our intent. We can try to look into each other's horoscope and understand the different behavioural patterns of Saturn. I tend to think that a lot depends on the cusps. I am also planning to join a good course in Astrology in Nov/Dec with Saturn entering Scorpio i.e. 11th from Lagna and 5th from Natal Moon - With both Lagna Lord and Jupiter aspecting Lagna.

Hi All,

Past two and half years were terrible in terms of career.
Lost first job in Nov 2012, second job in Aug 2013 and I just hope that I do not have to go through the same experience again!
Astham shani from lagna.
What is more concerning is that shani will transit to Scorpio which will be Astham shani from moon.

Curiousastro - I'm only a learner but took a quick look at your chart if don't mind. With Ketu in 10th & Jup in 8th, you are bound to have career problems but hard work should give you improved results. Your chart indicates problems in marriage too and you might be a person of strong desires. Are you working away from home now since you might be comfortable staying away from home.

I am Taurus ascendant. These 2 and half years was very problematic for me specially last one and half years. No progress in career front, huge financial losses,Disaster in marital life-Separation from Wife, False court case etc. Saturn transit over the natal Saturn proved to be fatal for me.

Curiousastro...In my humble opinion, Astham Shani from Moon has more gravity and far reaching effects when compared with position from Lagna. It is advisable that you start with recitation of the the Dasharatha Krita Shani Stotram on a regular basis.

Rakz1986....results of Saturn Transit, in my humble opinion, are best judged from the Natal Position of the Moon. By any chance, is your moon in Leo?

Dc - my moon is in libra, im tula rashi, makara lagna. Saturn sitting 11th house lagna. Saturn has been transiting over my natal moon which is 10th house and soon entering 11thth house or 2nd house from moon.

Rakz1986...Then u r passing through Sadesati and from November 2, 2014 till completion of 2.5 years that would be the third dhaiya of the sade sati. If you can follow the small remedy I have suggested above, i think it will be good. Secondly, many places may be organising Shani Homam on 1 November 2014 in view of the transit where Sesame Seeds etc. would be given as "Ahuti". You can also organise one or arrange for one. Moon-Saturn conjunction also indicates depression and you lagna lord is with Marakadhipati.

Saturn even though the ascendant lord, it is advisable that you follow remedies to appease Saturn. Saturn is not a soft planet. It does not require strengthening in my humble opinion esp. when it is exalted, but since it conjoins the natural karaka of Sukhasthana, the 4th house will suffer to some extent.

Interesting to find so many ppl sharing saturn experiences..m also makar lagna with shani exalted in 10 th..my career has been ok till now..in my case its nvr bn dearth of options but too many options hve not let my career the way i wanted it to be ..

I had saturn transit over my natal sun, sun is placed in 6th house and is debilitated. It ruined my career completely in past 3 years.everything I will have to start again. Even my sade sathi wasnt that bad.it is probably cos I m.also going through sun md

Hi Ramyabhu...Please post details of you DOB/POB/TOB because otherwise it will be difficult to understand the reasons for such unfortunate incidents. What is the position of your 10th Lord in D-10 chart? Have you considered the transit of Saturn in your D-10 chart? Secondly...Sun in 6th House say if it is Leo can confer good results esp. Government Jobs/Administrative Jobs, etc.Both Sun and Saturn are considered karakas for 10th House and 6th House is the house of service. Sun in 6th House may mean involvement in administrative service, etc. Saturn's transit over 6th House if not favorable shall mean scandals or allegations. Have you considered the effects of Ketu?

@Rinik...So Mercury is your Badhakpati and 5th Lord in 5th House. Saturn being your 11th and 12th Lord is positioned in 9th House along with Mercury...not a favorable place for either Saturn and/or Mercury. You can recite Vishnu Sahasranama regularly and Mahamrityunjaya Mantra also. Saturn's transit over your natal 9th House may not be conducive to one's father esp. if the same is not a favorable position for Saturn. Secondly at the cost of repetition, 9th Lord has Badhakpati in it. As of now Jupiter is aspecting the natal 9th House which is great but it is only till April 2014 and Saturn will continue to be in it till Jan 2017.

Dear Rinik, please post a query with all details including DOB/POB/TOB and seek advice of our seniors like Shilpa Ji, Ramanan Ji and others. It needs immediate attention. I am not that much equipped/knowledgeable to assist you but something tells me you should seek immediate remedies.

fourth nov, 1987, 6:55pm, manasa (mp). Things have started going bad on career front 1 year before my sun dasha started.I will look forward yo your analysis.

Hi:

I am Capricorn lagna and Saturn is my lagna lord.
He taught me with a whiplash to always be on my toes. It was transiting my natal moon in 10H so this period was full of ups and downs.
Since Saturn is in my 8H is my lagna chart , its aspecting my 10H so while my I got a good job (started in Oct 2011), I faces a lot of ups and downs and false allegations in my office.

But Saturn saved me and no harm came to me because I had followed my dharma at work.

my 10th lord is in 8th house so the ups and downs were expected too

Saturn showed me my true friends and enemies at work and taught me a lesson on patience and hard work.

With the move to 11th house, I am ready to learn more.
For me Saturn is a teacher with a whip....but he is the Guru who always taught me what I could not even imagine..
