Pancreatic cancer for mother

'My mother was diagnosed with a pancreatic lesion via a CT Scan on
28th February 2013. She was complaining of stomach pain since August
2012. On the recommendation of the surgeon, she underwent a surgery to
remove the lesion on 15th March 2013. Upon surgery it was found that
the lesion has spread to an advanced stage locally, and hence, surgery
cannot be a curative solution to the problem, but they have got out as
much of the tumor as they could.

She has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the prognosis for
her type of pancreatic cancer is not at all favourable.
Her birth details are as follows:

Lagna: Tula, Rashi: Tula, Nakshatra: Swati
In order to assist your reading, I am providing my birth details along
with my sister’s birth details hereunder since her birth time has been
recorded at home and accuracy issues may be sorted out through our
birth details.
My birth details-

Lagna: Mithuna, Rashi: Kumbha, Nakshatra: Purvabhadrapada

My sister’s birth details-
Date of birth: 22nd April 1976
Time of birth: 23:07 Hours
Place of birth: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
Lagna: Dhanus, Rashi: Makara, Nakshatra: Dhanishta

My questions are:
1. What is her longevity looking like?
2. What are the remedial measures to increase her longevity?

I am sorry to hear about your motehr's situation:

--I believe the lagna is scorpio...by changing BT by +6:30 minutes
OR
the otehr possibility is that the IST was not implemented yet in that location.
and switching LMT option also puts the Lagna in scorpio.

--12th is the house of hospitalizations, losses that contains a Ketu that is highly afflicted by very close conjunction( within 1 degre) with Gulika.

Opposite Node Rahu and Malfic shani is conjunct in transit and are trasnitting over the Ket-Gk conjunction.

that puts Rah-Ket-shani-and Gulika all in the 12th house and natal Rahu from the 6th house is also in turmoil with negative energoes as Ket is transitting over it.
Many malefics are being associated on the 6-12 axis throuhg natal conjunctions, aspects and transits...while Ketus is the operative MD now.

--further shani's transit over moon in the 12th house is the peak of Sade sati and in Oct 2012 shani was exact degree over moon.

further shani is now turned retro in Feb 2013....and will remain so until June 2013.....shanidev gets very severe and harsh when he is retro and the next few monhts until June 2013 may be punishing.

--and she started her Ketu MD in June 2012 and was in Ket-Ket period when the pain and cancer symptoms appeared in aug 2012.

--Like in most cancer cases multiple malefics are in association, dustahns are involved ( 6-12 axis is operative here)...unfavorable dasa and unfavourable transits.
pancreas are located in the intestinal area ruled by 6th house.

all the above conditions combine to trigger cancer like severe disease.

Mitigations:

--while the operative dasa is still highly malefic Ketu....atleast anatra has started of an exalted Venus.

Rahu ..one of the malefics in the mix is in Venus's nakshatra and moon a natural benefic inspite of it's weakness is a bit of a cushion in the 12th house.

--Lagna lord Mars is well placed in freindly surya's house the 10th for the chart, it's the digbala house for Mars ..and he is aspecting the lagna.
very strong Lagna and lagna lord.

--Lagna lord for D6 is Venus exalted...in the karak 6th house
and the planteary karak for D6 chart is shani also in swakshetra.


suggestions:

-advise her to and also on her behalf Maha Mritunjay mantra should be chanted. Get to 10,000 time as quickly as possible and then cycles of 108 times....daily as many as possible.

--appease Ketu dev...while many malefics are involved Ketu dev is acting from the natal chart 12th house and also the dasa lord and the dasa/antara lord when this cancer was triggered.

these will at the very least ease the pain.

--the time until shani is retro will be severe and painful....they will probably administer chemo or radio therapy.

but I do believe because of mitigations and throuhg prayers .....she has an even chance of pulling it throuhg.

Since I have been in and out of hospital, it has been a winding journey for me, and hence my delay in posting a reply on the forum.

Your interpretation and analysis were very useful in giving me some clarity on the situation at hand. I will keep you posted on the progress of my mother.

It has been a long time since I had posted on the forum. It pains me to inform you that my mother breathed her last on May 13, 2014. I do not want to get into details regarding it-her end was dragging and painful-she suffered a lot despite being a noble woman. But, I would certainly like to state that if somebody wants to hear my story out on this forum, and how a horoscope can actually blur the line between fact and fiction-then I can email them a piece about the story of my life.

Additionally, the concept of astrology can act as a suitable aid to make a detrimental situation better, but whether it can actually turn around events to make them life changing is a different concept altogether. For so many years, I used to keep sending my horoscope to astrologers galore online, with the hope of hearing something worthwhile and good. Nearby where I stay in Bangalore, about 500 meters away is the main astrological consultation centre of B.V.Raman's son, Sachchidananda Babu-you need to wait for a consultation for about 6 months, and you are charged about Rs. 20,000 to begin with, for 6 months. We decided at home to not consult him regarding Mom-and we don't feel that we did a wrong thing.

I relate to astrology in everything that I do. My eyes are moist as I write this. I am supposed to start an astrology course at Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan tomorrow in Bangalore-but I have also been advised that I know whatever is required to be known and don't need a formal degree. I live and breathe astrology, and while I read continuously about ways in which a weak horoscope such as mine can be corrected-it is both painful and sad that a preordained event for a person born with stars which are beyond his/her control is this life actually end up happening. I am reticent and I somehow never get along with the crowd-but is that not why astrology becomes so much more formidable as an asset to escape into? My humble advice to astrology enthusiasts is to work, research and research again to help correct flaws in a horoscope, which would lead to a consequnetial change in the personality of an individual-go beyond money, possessions and the likek and give simple remedies to bring a personality change which willl automatically lead to success. For instance, I might be unhappy in my job, but with mars in the 10th house, I am supposed to have a good career. Astrology is more than rashi and navamsha analysis.

In any case, this forum has been a great outlet for me to vent out pent up feelings of a science which very few people understand. Regards.

i have been thinking for the past 10 minutes how to respond to this.

bornhoaxer, i won't comment on mars in the tenth house and career issues considering it was only an example but yes, some astrologers would appear to be in a hurry without analyzing the whole thing. yesterday on this forum in the relationship section i saw a girl's horoscope where she said the astrologers (that she went to outside) had told her a happy married life while she had a number of combinations that indicated disturbance.

research is required, yes. patience is another requirement and that holds true on both sides.
