Whether Jupiter is good for Virgo Asc?

Because jupiter is the lord of 4 & 7 which causes kendradipatya dosha. is it good that jupiter get hidden in 6th house?

Learned astrologers, please enlighten me with your thoughts.

Thanks.

Hi karthik1984,

Thanks for the response.

But it is not a specific chart question and just wanted to get some overview whether it will be beneficial?

Yes for Virgo and Gemini ascendant jupiter suffers from kendradhipati dosh.A natural benefic when owns two quadrants turns into malefic and if placed in malefic houses yeilds positive results.Hence for virgo ascendant jupiter in 3,6,11 should give positive results.

Moreover for Sagittarius and Pisces ascendants jupiter suffers kendaradhipati dosh but being the lord of the lagna becomes a yogakaraka for those ascendants.

Hi arun,

For sagittarius ascendants mercury is weak due to the kendaraadhipati dosh but again you should go back to basics.

Eight house denotes occult studies, secrets, research pertaining to other worlds etc.Mind you, mercury being a playful planet loses its energy in the eight house and is considered bad but due to its kendradhipati dosha it may become slightly positive.

Correct me if I am wrong

Hi Varshak,

Hamsa yoga is caused when jupiter is placed in kendra in own or exaltation sign. For this yoga to give very good results, jupiter should be a benefic planet for that ascendant.Hence this yoga shows up as follows-:

Sagittarius Ascendant : placed in sagi or pisces.
Pisces ascendant :placed in sagi or pisces.

For these two lagnas jupiter gives extraordinary results if involved in hamsa yoga being the lord of the lagna and those persons have divine grace and will enjoy all the benefits of the planet jupter.

Aries ascendant : placed in cancer exalted (4th).
For Aries ascendant it owns 9th and 12th but gives positive results being the lord of 9th the most powerful trikona.

Cancer Ascendant :placed in lagna itself staying exalted.
Again lording 6th may make it weak but as the lord of 9th makes it powerful.

Now coming to mithuna lagna, jupiter is malefic for this lagna but in 10th gives dig bala and kendra bala to it and hence hamsa yoga shows up but not as powerful as for the above mentioned ascendants.

Hi,

For libra ascendant jupiter as a lord of 3rd and 6th houses is bad and its placement in 5th may hurt the significations of that house but do not forget that jupiter being the most benefic planet in a trikon may make it slightly positive however its aspects are always benefic and it throws its full aspect on your 9th,11th and on your lagna making these houses fairly strong enough. Its association with venus and mercury in enemy house makes it weak as well.Check out its placement in navamsa as well,if its in own /exalted then that would turn it pretty strong.

Please perform some remedies for jupiter.

There is a possibility of a powerful raja yoga by the association of your lagna lord venus and 9th lord mercury in 5th but I fear that due to the association of jupiter as a 6th lord may cancel it so please check that how many degrees jupiter is from mercury and venus. Also the placement of saturn as a paramayogakaraka for your lagna is very important.

Stay blessed

very nice explanation
sir

1. what if in above case if jupiter become lord of good houses in navamasha , will birthchart lordship of 3rd & 6th starts to give good result.

2.for libra ascendant if jupiter placed in 11th as lord of two upchaya house will give good result . how about it aspect
on other houses being lord of 3rd & 6th.

Thank you so much kiranp for the reply.
I checked my janma kundali and Jupiter is in 24:43:14 degree, Mercury in 00:45:02 degree and Venus is in 02:12:04 degree. All the three are placed in 5th house. Saturn is placed in 9th house in gemini in Janma kundali.

In Navamansa Kundali
Saturn is placed with Sun in 1st House.
Jupiter is placed in 2nd house with Ketu.
Moon and Marse are placed in 3rd house.
Mercury and Venus are placed in 7th house.
Rahu is placed in 8th house.

Can you please tell me if there is any chance for me going abroad.

Regards,
Hemangini.

Hi chavitarun,

As far as I know,we do not consider lordship of houses in navamsa for analyzing the strength of a planet. We only see the house in which a particular planet is placed. If placed in own/friendly/exalted navamsa gives strength to that particular planet.

Navamsa is the surgical division of your 9th house which is the most powerful trikon and bhagyasthna.Hence placement of planets in good houses gives strength to them.Marriage is also considered to be a bhagya by our sages hence we tend to see the marriage related issues from the navamsa as well.

Placement of jupiter in 11th is always considered fortunate unless it is very badly damaged in the rasi and navamsa since from the 11th it aspects one trikon(5th) and one kendra(7th).

The aspects of jupiter are always considered fortunate but as a lord of 6th might to very less extent hinder a particular house.Jupiter is the most benefic planet and it does not harm unless it is really really badly placed.

Hi Hemangini,

Placement of saturn in 9th in friendly house for your ascendant is great.Going abroad is generally seen from the status of your 12th house and 9th house the dasa you are running and transits of planets from your janma rasi.

We cannot analyze any horoscope just by knowing the mere placement of planets in particular houses. We need to analyze all the permutations and combinations of ,its strength, aspect it receives placement in navamsa etc etc.

Hence please provide me your birth details :)

Thanks

Does Hamsa Yoga only apply to placement of Jupiter In Rasi chart or it could apply in other divisional charts also ?

Hi uspa,

Hamsa yoga or for that matter any particular yoga apply to other divisional charts as well and signify that particular area of life as in the divisional chart.

So what would this suggest if this yoga is being formed in the D12 chart with sagittarius lagna there and Jupiter in 1st house ?

Jupiter in any house it is placed will eventually get better with time. Due to the planet's size in mass (11x larger than Earth), it expands in the house it is place.

Ie., If placed in the 3rd house for Virgo Ascendant, communications will improve with time. Relations with siblings also improve.

Hope this helps,
Smile
