Hello all,
I've been wondering about my Jupiter for a while, see it's Debilitated in the 8th. But Receives an aspect from it's lord Saturn, aswell as saturn is in kendra(10th) from the Moon. So this is a neech bhanga , correct?
Well, my confusion is that I've been told from a few astrologers (no one "professional" though) that my jupiter is weak/debilitated, I've also been told by others(similar skill level as the first few) that my jupiter is quite strong, and they cite things like how a debilitated planet in a dushanta is a raj yoga (two negatives making a positive..) or Jupiter's getting directional strength in Navamsa - aswell as using Rasi Tulya Amsa, jupiter would be in the ascendant of my Rasi too.

I also came across an article on neechabhanga saying another method to give strength to a planet is if one of the houses it owns holds an exalted planet (venus in pisces in my case), but I haven't been able to find more websites confirming this.
Same goes for an idea I came across on another forum about how if a debilitated planet's lord is also debilitated, but they each get a neechabhanga, then both receive an even stronger neechabhanga. (so in my case Merc in pisces, but cancellation of debilitation due to retrograde+conjunct exalted venus+in kendra house)..

Anyway,
I went through Jupiter dasha and it was actually a good time, I did not get any negative 8th house issues, no health concerns, no major ups and downs in life...
Aswell as in life I feel I'm very "jupiter" , in a positive way. Always teaching/advising people, infact thats pretty much been one of my jobs the last few years. I have great self control, am not materialistic, meditate/pray, don't drink or do drugs, am into philosophy,etc..

So I'm wondering what learned members opinions on my Jupiter placement is - it confuses me as it seems to be very poorly placed, but I haven't felt it as such.

it suffers from kendrapati dosha too - one idea I had was maybe being debilitated with this dosha is infact welcome? Perhaps it's not positive to have such a strong kendrapati dosha planet?
Anyway, I Look forward to your opinions.
