I have tried to figure out what karmic influences in the chart that are
responsible for creating obstacles of getting a job (and having poor
finances).
Not long ago I was leaving a Sade Sathi period (Sani is now transiting
Kanya lagna).
Have had this no-job situation for some years. There has been
some job opportunities comming unexpectedly, but have also lost the
job unexpectedly. Isn't this a typically Rahu effect, sudden and rought
changes???
The present Vimshottari period is: Chandra / Rahu / Sani.
Chandra is in her own sign in 11th, in conjunction with exalted Guru
debilitated.
Rahu is in 4th, in conjunction with 12th lord Surya.
Sani (Atma karaka) is in 2d exalted.
Ketu is in 10th.
The lagna-lord and 10th house lord Budha is in 5th.
I thought the Chandra mahadasa would be a great period for finances,
conjunct with Guru exalted (Gajakesari Yoga), or is the positive
influence of Guru spoiled because of that he is also debilitated???
What should I look for in the chart to find out about job situation?
In oct. 2010 I will going into a Chandra / Guru mahadasa period.
Will situation improve then?
Are there any sub divisional charts to be taken into consideration
as well?

I can see your point about Sani, Revribhav, a good point I haven't
considered. But when looking into Vimshottari it seems to me that Sani
is not the planet that has been giving the non-wanted effects concerning
job. I'm now in Chandra / Rahu.
When I lost the job last year in sept. 2008 I was in Chandra / Mangala.
Isn't it Mangala that have created the job-problem due to its 8th house
ownership, located in 7th, aspecting 10th house (job / career) and
2d house (finances)?
