Lost my job

I lost my job this month and in lookout for another one. I am finding it difficult to obtain a job, either i dont get the interview calls or i fail in interview. going through a very bad phase. Can someone kindly help me in this crucial condition. Can you please tell me if i will get a job in software field and when do you see it happening.
