course of marraige after rahu mahadasha?

As as amateur student of astrology, I do realize that my marriage would be doomed during my current rahu mahadasha which ends in ten years from now...However, I was wondering if my marriage would get better during Jupiter mahadasha and Saturn mahadasha...

I have surya rahu in ashvini( aries) in vyaya bhava
7th lord mars in 8th saggitarius with aspect of rahu...
I am aware of marital difficulties- more to do with in laws and less to do with the husband..My only question is if it would get any better after rahu mahadasha which increases enemies of marriage being 6th from 7th house. I was wondering if learned astrologers could give their view point based on the chart. I would appreciate help via different viewpoints ....

@ Rainforest2012,

Jupiter dasha will be far better than current dasha coz in D-9 it is gaining strength, chart has some weakness for progeny.

Weakness in progeny being 8 from guru? I do see the 6/8 angle between moon and Jupiter and that being trigored during Jupiter mahadasha...Being a female who travels for work and especially during Jupiter dasha, my kids could feel the ups n downs of 8th angle..I would just hate to go thru the indignity of divorce (Saturn in my yuvati in anuradha)

Hello Rainforest2012,

It is a misconception that Rahu mahadasha is unfavorable to marriage. Actually, your chart does indicate delayed marriage; but it is because Shani is in your 7th house in Rasi chart. So marriage will not happen until after your are 30-32 years old. Venus Bhukthi in 2017 will bring about a favorable time for marriage for sure. Actually your venus is in very good diginity in both Rasi and Navamsa charts. Venus indicates a person's ability to love and receive love.
There will not be any difficulty with partner or in-laws as you say. You will have good joint assets with the spouse as well.

Growing up you would have had a loving mother, but there would have been some problems with the father.
A pretty good career is indicated, though it will take time to get good (probably mid- late 30's) due to 10th lord being a saturn-retrograde; Presence of guru in 10th bhava is a blessing. Actually Jupiter's presence in 10th house may indicate that you might meet your spouse at a place of work or work-related arena.
Looks like you will have had some health issues come to your life as well.

Thank you zillions for a detailed viewpoint..... n that too super positive as opposed to what I head a bout my marriage. Most of the details you provided are very accurate... :)

I did have a lot of health issues which seem to subside at the very last minute... I come extremely close to extreme to toxicity and at the very last minute I self heal or I get detached from my ailment... may b due to my ketu in sixth house in rashi and navamsha....U would think swakshetra shukra being ari lord would protect me from health issues and surgeries but it all goes awry in every ketu period and mars period....:)

Pardon me if I err for raising a question regarding timing of marriage.... Saturn will be in vrishchika from nov 2014 until 2016 and my year long ketu antardasha is in 2016(which is bad for health and job , good for childbirth)... I thought my marriage would occur right before Saturn return to face the Saturn related karma in my yuvati....and then again , I could be wrong in assuming that the current half nodal return, bhukti of navamsha lord and guru in 11th from moon aspecting seventh could give me marriage before Nov 2014.

Once again, I really appreciate and respect ur viewpoint :)

Just to add

Even I am running Rahu MD & Sun Rahu are in 11th in Aries along with Moon & Mercury.

Rahu is the only planet aspecting 7th house.

I got engaged in Ra/Ju MD. Ju lord of 7th in 9th.

Worshiping Goddess Durga may help overcome all difficulties in life.

Good to see you are learning astrological principles for predicting timing of events :)

As for marriage before November 2014, it is my opinion that it is unlikely to happen. Though transits are useful in predicting timing of marriage the Dasha always trumps transits. Moreover, the presence of Saturn in your 7th house in Rasi, and especially Saturn aspecting Venus, I would say delayed marriage is indicated. This is not a bad thing. Saturn is actually the only planet that is good to have IN the 7th house, as it is most conducive to practical expectations of the spouse. Saturn aspecting Venus in both the Rasi and Navamsa further adds to the likelihood of late marriage.

You are likely to get married at the Venus Bhukthi of 2017 at the earliest for this reason.
