Keeping in touch with subject of astrology

Dear Experts,

There are several category of people in the section of astrology. Few who are very good in astrological discussions and dive deep in to the subject but can not carry out any predictions successfully. Few are never involved any sort of discussions but surprisingly can provide accurate predictions. What planetary combinations distinguishes these set of people and in which divisional chart? Which pointers in divisional charts indicates these minute issues?

In brief, one may check the comperative strength, effectiveness and position of the two planets i.e. Mercury & Jupiter in D-1 (and divisional charts for finer evaluation). Mercury dominated astrologer should fall in the first category, Jupiter dominated astrologer should fall in the second category.

Thank you swarnimji and violetji for your insights. Somehow topic is unable extract much replies, As lately I realized that there are lot of other influencing combinations in native's chart apart from just two categories mentioned. Few astrologers only work for fame/publicity, few are money oriented and few are purely for providing good service to society . Some are egoistic and some are selfless in nature. Moreover, What purpose native serves is more important than what combinations which makes astrologer.

Dear ragav,
Your question is good,learning can be seen from d-24,strengths and weaknesses can be seen in d-27.Astrologer can have deep insight,excellent knowledge but if he is running dashas of planets in 12th of d-27 there will not be much success and everytime he will find the points which he did not come across in astrology.If he is running strong 3rd house related planet's dashas there will be success through communication and writings.Moreover this is occult subject,divine grace is much required,I feel.

D-24 is for general learning or any learning related to occult science/astrology? How significantly it differentiates various category of astrologers? Which divisional chart shows such divine grace?

4th,8th and 12th houses are moksha trikonas and so they give occult knowledge.Planets generally in 8th and 12th of d-24 gives occult knowledge.4th house is initial education of any type,6th from 4th is 9th so it gives graduation,6th from 9th is 2nd so it gives Masters(ability to speak about the subject),6th from 2nd is 7th(Phd).
Jupiter is main karaka for astrology that is why some eminent astrologers will practice jupiter gayatri mantra to master this subject.
It depends on astrologers choice and confidence,as said before d-27(nakshatramsa) will give you information on this.Divine grace and spiritual practices will be seen in vimsamsa(d-20).

If you really want to learn this subject start with rashi chart then go to divisional charts,Rashi chart is the basic chart to get started.
