Benefic Ketu

I have had this doubt for a long time. When does Ketu become a benefic in a horoscope? Could learned astrologers please show me some light on this?

Dear krishnapb,
Rahu and Ketu act like the planet they conjunct......Rahu brings out the outwardly materialistic karkatva of that planet
and Ketu brings out the inward, more abstract karkatva of that planet.

hence Ketu conjunct with Jupiter brings out heightened spiritual wisdom......and that it is occuring in the 8th house that amidst other things stands for study of occult/ mysticim....so those are the areas where your spiritual wisdom is showing itself. so if you were to take study and practise of astrology, mysticism, tantriki...you would learn fast

also the maleficity that Ketu is reuted to bring by being in the 8th house.....is cushioned by the presence of a strong Jup who is also the trinal 9th Lord.

althouhg the best place for Ketu to be from Moksha point of view is in the 12th house....standalone and in the nakshtra of eitehr of Jup, shani or Ketu himself.

in 8 promotes moksha .At the most it may help to produce celibacy/vedanthini/interest in esoteric matters.Bandhana-morcha yoga liberates the soul .

In my case ketu is exalted in 11th house and my ketu dasha is also approaching ...so how will be my dasha ..??
its alone in the house without any other planet
